Fallon
As the two sisters sat across from the one person —they thought had fell off the face of the earth, silence was graced upon their table as neither of the parties have spoke besides ordering their food.
Fallon sat there taking a glimpse of the beautiful aged woman. She had every feature of her, but she had her fathers eyes.
One hour had flew by and the girls started to grow impatient. Noticing just that Elizabeth spoke up.
"I wanted to meet with you both because, well I know I some what owe y'all an explanation to why I just up and left. But first I want y'all to know I'm truly sorry and I need y'all to know that I'm dying— "
Laughing Aaliyah cut her mom off— "just because your dying we suppose to forgive you and just let you slide??"
Fallon sat there and just listened to the two go back in forth. Emotionally she couldn't deal with this. Its been almost two months and Erika isn't getting any better. She got a call a few days ago saying her dad was taking into custody for driving under the influence. But on the other hand she's trying to maintain a platonic relationship with August; but now hearing that her mom, the one person whose love she craved like no other is dying? She just couldn't deal with this type of heart break.
"Look, if you let me talk then I can tell you what you want to know!" Elizabeth yelled causing people to look in their direction.
"It's nothing you can say thats going to give either of us closure. Did you know— Fallon gave up her life to do YOUR job. And she might not tell me this and she might not ever admit it. But I know she hated being stressed out with taking care of me and dad. When it was your job as his wife and as our mom. But no, as soon as things got hard you left." Aaliyah stated angry.
Elizabeth sat there nearly on the verge of breaking down, because she knew her daughter was telling the truth. But what they didn't know was that she left to protect them. She wanted to take them with her but their father wouldn't let her. The few times she tried he had people watching the house and he threaten to deaden all of them if she ever tried to take his family away.
Being in the war honestly fucked him up but she tried making it right. But one night he came home completely drunk and she thanked god that the girls were asleep. He held her at gun point and told her to go. But the fucked up part was that, she couldn't take them with her.
Gathering her things she laid a fifty dollar bill on the table for her meal.
"Fallon I'm so sorry for everything —but when your ready to talk call me, but I hope it's not to late." She stated honestly and with that she disappeared out the door.
Tears just flowed down her face. No words could describe how she was feeling, but she knew she needed to find out what was going on and just why!

Trey
As Trey sat in the hospital chair. He contemplated on how to tell Erika this secret he's been keeping from her.
She was currently sleeping. After chemo she wasn't in the best of moods.
He hated seeing her in this state. She had lost her hair and she was losing excessive amount of weight.
After an hour she had finally woke up. Thinking that he should go ahead and tell her what was up, he did just that.
Erika stared off into space at particularly nothing. Her mind roamed in all kinda of directions. She didn't show no sign of being hurt. She couldn't believe that the people she trusted were betraying her in such a way.
"Baby say something please." Trey begged.
But Erika didn't have any words. Nor did she have any tears left to cry.
6 years devoted to a man and he basically pissed on her love. She grew angry at the thought. Knowing the high risk she had with her blood pressure at this point, she couldn't afford to get any sicker.
But Trey constantly begging and pleading wasn't helping. She started to get a headache.
"Trey can you just go. I need some time alone to think." She asked not being able to look in his direction.
Standing up from his chair. He bent down giving her a small kiss on the forehead.
"Erika I am really sorry and I do love you." He said before vanishing out of the room.

August
I was currently laid up with Fallon. Since the dinner with her mom, she haven't been her normal self.
After convincing her to call her mom, we laid there talking about nothing. But it was moments like this I cherished .
After a while she finally fell asleep on my chest. Not wanting to wake her, I slowly drifted off too.
A few hours later her phone started going off. I looked over at the time it was 2 something in the morning.
Shaking her lightly, she finally woke up.
"Fall your phone been blowing up for the past 20 minutes ."
Turning over she reach to answer her phone, but the person had already hung up.
Looking at her notifications she had over 40 text messages, 9 voicemail, and 20 missed called.
Reading her text messages; it looked like the wind was knocked out of her.
"Fallon, baybeh whats wrong?" I question confused.
She couldn't speak she just broke down into my chest.
I grabbed her phone and I couldn't believe my eyes.
I just rubbed her back and cradled her in my arms.
