Chapter 16: Awkward

It's awkward. Super awkward. I looked around the room. Everyone had their eyes on me. It's like if they stared at me, all the answers to their questions will just come right out of me. The tension between the two boys beside me was heavy. I sighed as I looked at Yoongi and Taeil.

We just got back and everyone was sitting in the living room. They were waiting for me to explain to them what had happened. I took a deep breath as I was about to say something. "BTS, this is my close friend since childhood, Taeil. Taeil, this is BTS who have been letting me stay in their place until now." Everyone looked at Taeil but Taeil was only looking at one person. Yoongi. I could feel them fighting with their glares while I'm in between them.

I looked at Hoseok, trying to get his attention. He finally looked at me and I gave him a pleading look to help get rid of the tension. He nodded his head like he understood my facial expressions and said, "Ya look at us. An important guest came to out dorm and we have not served him anything. Jin hyung! Suga hyung! Will you help me?" he asked but he didn't really give them time to answer since he grabbed them by their arms and dragged them to the kitchen. Before they left, I looked at Jin and noticed that he had this weird expression pasted on his face. It kinda looked like he was angry? Why though? I just shrugged it off eventhough it was hard because I have never seen that look on Jin's face before. I had a bad feeling....

Once they left, I could finally let out a painful breath that I had been holding in. Taeil give me a sorry look. It looks like he sensed the tension as well. He looked at the others seated on the sofa. He bowed and greeted them. They introduced themselves.

"Hi! I'm the maknae Jungkook!"

"Hello my name is Taehyung. But you can call me V, the really cool and charming guy!" Taehyung said as he held a peace sign.

"Jimin the most handsome guy among us!"

"The cheerful J-Hope is here!"

"The leader. The Rap Monster. Prefer you calling me Namjoon."

(I apologise for this part because I always wanted to add this kinda stuff in the story.)

Taeil just smiled awkwardly since he did not expect those kind of introductions. "So why did you come and visit _____?" Jungkook asked. He didn't seem to realise that he was not suppose to ask that sensitive question. Namjoon kicked him in the leg to tell him to keep quiet but Jungkook just glared at the leader as he thought that Namjoon was kicking him for fun.

Taeil just waved his hand as a sign that it was okay and Namjoon bowed his head as an apology. "I just came to cleared some stuff between _____ and I. Plus I wanted to check our who she was living with and make sure she's okay," Taeil said.

I was a little shock to hear that but kept a straight face. Just then Hoseok, Jin and Yoongi came out of the kitchen holding trays of drinks and snacks. Once everyone settled down, the place became awkward. "How long have you both known each other?" Yoongi asked while he stared at Taeil again. Taeil's pinky finger started twitching and moving. Nobody noticed it but I did. It's not a good sign. His pinky finger always moves alot when he's annoyed or angry. Still he kept a calm expression and answered,"Since we were very young. Our parents were close friends so that's how we met each other."

"So how did you guys met _____?" Taeil then asked.

"Well actually, Yoongi hyung was the first one who met _____. We all met her through Yoongi," Namjoon explained.
