All morning I concentrated on my classes and teachers. I forgot all about the Evan incident until lunch when Courtney reminded me.

"Oh my freaking god Anna, I heard what happened in first period with Evan!" she practically screamed. Shit! Courtney already knew?

"What exactly did you hear?" I asked cautiously. Courtney was always on the latest gossip and if she already knew about this incident then there was no telling how exaggerated it was.

"Well, I heard he was hitting on you and asked you to have sex with him and then he grabbed your ass and you slapped him." she said wide eyed.

"Oh Anna are you okay?" asked Allison with concern. Okay now only one proportion of that was true.

"Yeah I'm fine Ali and that's not even how it happened" I said turning to Courtney.

"It wasn't? Then how?" she said. I really didn't what to think about that.

"Well he did hit on me but I didn't slap him nor did he touch my ass. Trust me if he did I would have done a lot more then slap him." I said looking serious.

"And I would have helped you." said a mad looking Courtney. I guess she was back to hating Evan.

"Yeah but it's over and done with. Okay? come on lets go eat." I said wanting to forget all about Evan.

We walked into the cafeteria and got our food and sat down. The food here was also way better then Public school food. Once we sat down Alex, Damien's best friend came and sat down next to Allison. I liked Alex he wasn't stuck up like Damien and I knew he had a sweet spot for Allison.

"I heard what happened with Evan." he said taking his golden eyes away from Allison and looking at me. Allison remained oblivious to the fact he was even staring at her.

"Whatever you heard it's probably not true." I said. Did everyone know?

"Really? Damn I was hoping he got slap that guy deserves to get more than slapped." he said looking angry.

I wondered what Evan do to piss off Alex? He was a nice guy and didn't seem to dislike anyone.

"Well, someone else is going to have to do it." I said beginning to eat. I really wanted to just forget the incident all together. That was going to be pretty hard now that the rumour was out there.

I saw a couple girls looking at me with distaste probably girls that had a thing for Evan. I wondered how long it would take for this rumour to die down.

"So.. " Alex said changing the subject and turning back to Allison. "I was going to throw a party at my house and I was going to ask you if you could come?" he asked Allison completely ignore Courtney and I.

"Um I don't really do parties." She said quietly. Which was true she never did like parties. The only reason she ever went to one was if Courtney and I dragged her with us.

Allison was kind of shy around people that she didn't feel comfortable with. She was actually pretty sarcastic and funny when you got to know her.

Alex's face fell and Courtney and I looked at each other. We both suspected Alex had a crush on Allison since freshman year but Ali never seemed to notice even when we suggested it to her she didn't believe it.

"What about you guys?" Alex asked turning to look at Courtney and I.

"Sure, and Allison you are going." Courtney said looking at Allison.

"Courtney, I'm not going to that party." Allison said looking back at Courtney.

"Come on Ali! You have to get out sometime and take a break from reading your books." I said looking at her.

I knew we were going to win. When Courtney and I paired up to get Ali to go to a party we always won.

"But -" she was cut off by Courtney. "Remember you promised me Ali." Courtney said giving her the puppy eyes.

Ali had promised Courtney that if we didn't make her go to Brenda's 16th birthday party, that she would go to another party with us.

Allison sighed "Okay fine" she said defeated.

"Yeah! count the three of us in Alex." Courtney said happily.

Alex brightened up and smiled "Great!" he said a little too excited.

Allison looked at him surprised by his over enthusiastic answer and he looked away.

"So when is it? " I asked.

"Friday."

"So whats the party for? " Allison asked.

"Its my birthday, I'm turning eighteen." he said not looking away from her Ali .

Allison looked down and said "Oh Happy early Birthday then."

He laughed "Thanks." he said.

After that Courtney and I started talking and left them to converse with themselves. A while later Damien and his friends came. He was talking to me but I tuned him out not really paying much attention to him throughout the meal.

The rest of the day I spent listening to my teachers, I really wanted to do good this year especially. I couldn't really concentrate in Chemistry though because Courtney was talking about what she would wear for the party. I didn't know what to wear either. Usually I wore some of Courtney's clothes since I didn't really have any of the clothes she had, If I even bought any clothes like that my Má would freak.

"So Anna can you come by my house I want to show you some dresses I had in mind to go to Alex's party in." said Courtney while coming out of our last period.

"Sure, and hey I think It's time we do something about Allison and Alex." I said. Courtney's eyes lit up .

"I was thinking the same thing." she said. "Though it's going to be hard."

"We already tried to tell her Alex likes her but she's just so insecure." I said frowning. Allison was beautiful and she didn't know it.

"Yeah and then after we do something about Allison, how about we do something about you?" she said smiling .

"Me? What's there to do?" I said frowning. I hope she didn't want to set me up with anybody. I gave that up long ago. No boy could deal with all my baggage.

"Damien and you. You know he likes you since he saw you." She said smiling brightly. Damien and I? No. He would most definitely not handle my life.

"No! Damien? Are you serious? " I said. I did not want to be set up with him. If he knew that I really wasn't rich and knew where I truly lived he wouldn't like me anymore. That's a fact.

"Come on Anna. I've never seen you go out with anyone, Take a chance." Okay so it was true I never went out with any of the guys from here.

I did go out with some of my cousins friends. Nothing serious just guys from El Barrio. The only guy I got kind of close to was Luis, but once I found out he belonged to one of the gangs I quickly stopped seeing him. I didn't need any of that in my life. Last I heard he was working for Mario Alvarez, the leader to the Blood Devils, a very familiar gang that was known to sell drugs and run a "Protection" agency for anyone who needed it.

I shook my gang related thoughts away. No I definitely didn't need that.
