“And why?”
“I'm not in my bra, jerk!” that statement just came out of nowhere. Stupid Audrey! Stupid! Why do you have to embarrass yourself even more?
“Oh, I'm s-sorry. Don't want to blind my eyes with your sexyness...” he chuckles covering his eyes with his left hand, backing away from the window.
“Just wait outside for me, I'll be ready in 10 minutes...”
“Sure thing.”
-BEEP-
I quickly got up from bed, immediately went to my bathroom to brush my teeth. After that, I had to rummage my closet to find any decent clothing to wear. I end up, taking my black slong sleeves, a pair of dark navy blue jeans, and undergarments.
I locked my bathroom, and took a quick 5-minute shower. Opening my bathroom door, I feel refreshed, as the cool air entered the pores of my skin.
Oh, I forgot Jace.
I hurriedly opened the main door, and surprised seeing Jace holding a plastic bag with a smirk plastered on his very, cherry red lips.
Why do I keep complimenting his lips?!

Audrey – Jace
“Done checking me out?” I asked him, keeping my eyes on his eyes that travels from my hair to my feet.
“Yeah, you still look hot wearing long sleeves” he says, earning him a light jab from my left fist to his stomach.
“Oww...”
“Please, no cheeky comments as of this morning?”
“Yeah, yeah. Still feisty as usual. Anyway, here's your pick me up!” he announces as he hands me the white plastic bag he's holding.
“Wait? You really have to get me a pick me up?”
“Yes.” he simply answers, and gives me a smile, a sweet smile, I'll add.
“Thanks. What's with the 'bad-boy-turning-good' actions on me?”
“Well, you might tell me to your father so I should act...nice.” I can tell his smile is now mischievous.
“You have a father, who's a billonaire Jace, that can bail you out of jail anytime you want if you get caught, so why worry about me telling this to my Dad?”
“Look, Audrey, my father's business...is not really 'well' at this times, so he wouldn't exactly have time to care about my problems. Besides, he has his own problems that he should worry about, not only his f—king s--” he stopped, taking a breath. His face turned to a frown, regretting that I asked about his father.
“I-I'm sorry.”
DAMN, why so overdramatic?
“That's okay. I'm used to it anyway.” he shrugs off, and sits on the chair on the dining table.
“So, are we gonna eat or what?”
“Alright, we will Jace.”
And he was right, getting my pick me up right, pancakes with strawberry syrup, topped with whipped cream and chocolate chip. How would he know that in every detail? We had ate half of the pancakes, and I must say, it's delicious!
“Hey, how did you know that this is my daily pick me up?” I asked, really not knowing the reason how he got to know that secret. From Lauren?
