91. Savior *[the finale]*

Start from the beginning

Eden gave me a push. "Go. He wont have much time."

I took a deep breath, focusing on that energy I felt inside me, closing my eyes. "Everyone leave please."

I didnt have to open my eyes to know that everyone had gone. Their scents became faint and the door shut behind them, leaving just me and X who was currently passed out.

I felt stronger than ever in this moment as I approached the bed, my eyes still closed. I could sense everything in the room through my energy, without even opening my eyes.  Everything had energy and I could feel it. It was a strange feeling.

Sitting on the bed, I opened my eyes and looked down at my sleeping mate, one of my hands resting where my pups were growing. I needed to protect them and this was how I would. This was how I would save us all. How I would get my Zaryn back.

"Zaryn, I know you are in there. I know part of you can hear me. Im going to make it all better. Trust me." I smoothed back his soft brown hair, his sleeping face looking so much younger than when he was awake.

Closing my eyes once more, I concentrated as my hand rested upon his forehead.. the energy inside me, shooting down into my fingers like a burning fire, forcing the current to flow through my hand and I felt it comply.

I focused on X's natural energy in his mind, my own energy pouring into his brain.. surrounding it like a ball of blue pulsing fire. A shock of electricity enveloped me and my body froze as it electocuted X and I, but i didn't dare take my hand away from him. It didn't hurt. It was just ... unfamiliar.

I felt like this was part of the process. That this was what was supposed to happen.

This was it.

I felt his soul become surrounded by my energy and then a bright light flashed into my mind, zapping his soul away into the ceiling and through the roof as my eyes went wide.

I glanced down to see Zaryn's naked body lying on the bed and a fuzziness took over my vision as darkness met me, my body falling limp on the bed.  The last thing I could hear were the sound of running feet pounding up the stairs but I was already falling, letting the darkness overtake my mind as I closed my eyes.

What seemed like hours later, my eyes fluttered open to see everyone surrounding me. Mom, dad, doc, daisy, Eden, Maxim, Blake, and now Gabriel was here too.

"Nova, are you okay?" Mom's worried voice filtered through as she pressed a cold wet cloth to my head, inspecting me with scrutiny.

Shaking her off, i sat up on the bed. "I'm fine." I faintly felt that raw energy but It had depleted, taking my own energy with it. "How long was I out?"

"Five minutes." Eden stepped forward, a small smile on her lips.  "You did it. You sent him to the moon. I just came out of a vision. I saw him there with my own eyes."

Eden was lucky to still have her vision. The moon always took the gift of an oracle who decided to choose a mate. But Eden kept hers. It seems as if she even has more visions now than before.

My brows rose in worry and I looked down to Zaryn's body lying next to me, now clothed. "Is he..."

"He will be fine. He's getting his closure.  This is apart of your new gift." Eden explained as she sat next to me on the bed, her arms going around me. "You are so powerful my friend."
