She Played Her Part ♡ Chapter 2

"You are my Godsend... That I have been forever dreaming of... My angel from above..." He's smiling while singing those lines.

Pakiramdam ko naman naging anghel nga ako dahil parang lumutang ako mula sa ground because of the tingling feeling I'm experiencing.

And that heavenly voice... Napapikit ako pero agad ring nagmulat ng mata nang tumigil siya sa pagtugtog. I looked at him with question expressed in my eyes.

"Babe, ngumiti ka naman," sabi niya sabay pinisil ulit sa pisngi ko at nagpatuloy na ulit sa pag-strum ng gitara.

And so, I smiled. He doesn't know that I was intently listening to his song that I want to feel every single word he sings, and it almost melt my heart.

"Heaven knows... I'm head over heels and it shows... I've played every field I suppose... But there's something about you... When you're around... Baby I have found... I get lost in you..."

Kung feel na feel ko ang kinakanta niya, mas feel na feel niya ang pagkanta. May papikit-pikit pa siya, lalo tuloy akong kinikilig! Idagdag pa iyong message ng kanta na parang baliw na baliw lang ang peg.

Well, who wouldn't be? Ang ganda ko kaya! Pero kahit pala magaganda, nababaliw din...

I'm now only staring at him, amazed of I don't know what or why. His voice echoing, together with my heart's beat, in the world only the two of us are in.

If this is what they call insane, I don't want to get my senses back anymore, not even only for a second.

"What is this feeling...? I've never known before..."

Love is the weirdest feeling I've ever felt. I cannot understand how it just suddenly strike on me. Matagal na kaming magkakilala ni Mark, we're together most of the time since we were kids. Bakit all of the sudden, naramdaman ko ito sa kanya? Why not before? Why only now?

Mystery of love...

"That I should touch you... Swearing to surrender ever more... That's what I came here for..." He closed his eyes while singing the high pitch of the last line.

I just kept my eyes on him still wondering how I fell in love with him.

But I came up with no answer. So, I surrendered, not only to look for answers, but also my whole heart on him.

"Heaven knows..." He opened his eyes and those loving stares met mine.

The connection was overwhelming. His eyes revealed powerful emotions that it made me shiver in a good way. That it's fine to be gone any moment now, knowing that someone loves you so much that lasts for a lifetime.

How could emotion be that strong? When did I let an emotion take over me? It was never, until now.

Another mystery...

"I'm head over heels and it shows... I've played every field I suppose... But there's something about you... When you're around... Baby I have found... I get lost in a wonderful daze... Lost in your wonderful ways... Heaven knows..."

Yumuko ulit siya sa gitara at nag-strum. Even his every move is adorable. Parang ang dali dali lang sa kanya ng ginagawa niya. I've never learned guirtar, even strumming. Grade four pa lang ako, inaaral ko na maggitara hanggang sa nagsawa na lang ako nang mag-second year high school ako at tumigil na dahil masakit ang pagpitik ni Renz sa daliri ko kapag naiinis na siya sa akin.

"I'm lost in you..." Inangat niya ulit ang mukha niya at nakita kong nakapikit siya habang nakangiti. "Heaven knows..."

Oh, God... I've fallen hard enough, already! Huwag naman po niya ako masyadong ibaon.
