I mentioned this earlier, but I'll only use a YouTuber if I'm actively engaged with their channel. So when I use people like Felix, Ken, Marzia, Bob, Wade (you get the point) excessively, it's because I like their channels/content. I won't use a YouTuber I don't watch. If you're really curious as to who I watch, I can give you a list.
Now as far as using YouTubers or original characters. I like to use both! So I always use a mixture of both real and fiction people. There's something nice of having the template a personal already and then having the free will to make a character whoever I want!
To me, I like both equally, so don't be surprised if you see a lot of each!
