Chapter 14: next to normal

Suitcases POV:
I have honestly no words to describe what just happened. Nor does anyone else. Mic looks confident though, which is surprising since she was the one who did it.
You are probably really confused right now and probably have a lot of questions such as 'what did just happen' or 'why are you walking home from school at 1 o clock when school finishes at 3' or maybe 'why do you all smell like smoke and chemicals'. I'll tell you why.
We were in science, and Mic accidentally set fire to the science lab. I'm not even kidding, she nocked over a Bunsen burner and set fire to the teachers desk, and that fire soon caught on to everything else, so as soon as we were able to quickly grab our stuff(something we are not suppose to do when the fire alarm goes off) we went outside with the rest of the school. We were lucky that the school didn't blow up, because in the next room were a lot of explosive and dangerous chemicals. And luckily for her, the teacher(unlike the rest of us) didn't see who nocked it over and none of us were about to tell on her, so the school thinks that someone nocked it over without realising. However, they still couldn't let us go unpunished just in case it wasn't an accident, so we have all been suspended for a week. Really, the only one of us who is actually upset is Test Tube, but she loves school so none of us are surprised.
Anyway, now we are all walking home. Wait a minute, why is mic turning in the wrong direction.
"Where are you going? Our houses are this way" OJ said, pointing in the right direction
"How else are we going to get to the park?" She asked
"Wait, Nature Park? As in the place where Nickel and the others got kidnapped?"
"Yeah. I figured they could use our help getting out of there, and I doubt the portal to the object show world is far away from where they were taken. Plus, even if it isn't there, I got everyone 2 surprises that are waiting there for us right now"
We continue walking to the park, and right by the sign I see 2 familiar faces waiting for us; a girl and her slightly older step brother that we've known for years.
The girl had pink hair with half of her fringe tied back with her pink bow that she's had since she was a little kid, and her face was plastered with makeup, but she was still recognisable. Her top was bright pink, and she wore a dark pink skirt.
The boy was just as fat as ever. His blonde hair was messy and slightly greasy, and his top was a light yellow.
I knew who they were instantly.
"BOW! DOUGH! What are you guys doing here?!" Asked Marsh ecstatically as she ran up to them and hugged them. She and Apple have kept up with them the best out of all of us over the years. In fact a few weeks ago the both had a sleepover at their house. But the rest of us haven't seen them in ages.
"Mic, like, told us to, like, meet you all here around this time. She, like, texted us last night"
"Wait what? Mic, why did you tell them to meet us now if school ends at 3?"
"Because I knew we had science today around this time, and I remember miss saying last lesson that she was going to demonstrate a practical that involves fire, so I just used that to my advantage, because it's better if we help out everyone earlier rather than later, don't you think? Plus, now that we are all suspended for the rest of the week, not just today, if it takes a while and we end up staying up late tonight trying to help them, we don't have to worry about being tired at school tomorrow. And speaking of if we end up staying up late tonight, I told all of our parents that we are going camping tonight, and that we are bringing everything we need to school with us, so we probably won't come home after school, and they were all fine with it, so they won't worry if we are out late."
"YOU PLANNED TO SET FIRE TO THE SCIENCE LAB AND GET US ALL SUSPENDED?!" Test Tube shouts.
"It wasn't the perfect plan, but it's working so far, and hey, what can I say, I've learnt from the best. Also, thanks for covering for me"
"What do you mean 'learnt from the best'? Also, next time you plan on getting us all in trouble, please tell us beforehand"
"Um......don't worry about that" she said nervously, "and.....uh......sorry. I will next time I just forgot to make sure it was ok with the rest of you until it was too late"
"Wait, Bow and Dough, how were you guys able to get out of school?"
"Who doesn't, like, skip school sometimes. Plus, today we, like, had all of the worst lessons put together. Plus, even if school was, like, fun, this would, like, quite obviously be, like, more fun. Seriously, who wouldn't, like, want to help their friends break out of a, like, weird secret place where they were, like, kidnapped?"
"WHY IS EVERYONE SKIPPING SCHOOL AND GETTING SUSPENDED ON PURPOSE?! DOESNT ANYONE REALISE HOW IMPORTANT AND FUN SCHOOL IS?!" Test Tube shouted
"Trust me, school isn't fun, and I think our friends lives and freedom is a bit more important" Mic said.
We continue walking into the park.
We are surrounded by large fields in almost every direction. It is completely deserted except a weird looking girl on a bench on her phone writing her fanfic for wattpad, and her dog which was running around. As we walked past her I got a better look at her; long, blonde, messy hair, blue eyes behind her prescription sunglasses, trainers that were mainly white, but has a bit of lightish red(pink) on them, but she refuses to admit they have pink on them, and will probably get in trouble if she stops wearing them for dog walking, because her parents bought them especially for her. She was also wearing some dark blue jeans, a black top with small white dots on it and a light blue jacket tied across her waist because she once again was too stupid to realise that she would probably get too hot to wear it after 5 minutes.
She didn't notice us walking past her, which is a good thing, because if she saw us she would start screaming like a lunatic 'AHHH MY STORY IS REAL WHAT DO I DO I SHOULDNT OF MADE THEM WALK PAST ME I SHOULDNT OF PUT MYSELF IN IT FOR A BREIF CAMEO WHAT DO I DO???!!!!!!!!' Or something along those lines.
