Chapter 9-an old friend, and a new friend

Fireys POV:

Ok, so as you know 3 days ago I changed myself into metal,  so I can ask out leafy. Now that I am metal, I'm gonna do that. Your probably wondering why I didn't ask her out as soon as I became mettle. Long story short, bubble stored my entire rain shelter with probably a few thousand yoleberries, and it took a lot longer to sort all of that out. Seriously, I started sorting through all the yoleberries at about 10:30 am and didn't Finnish until around 1 in the morning last night, and I had to sleep, and I woke up 5 minutes ago,  so thanks a lot for that, bubble. Note the sarcasm.
The only thing I think would of been more boring than making sure those yoleberries were sorted out would probably be watching me do it, but i doubt that anyone would actually be watching us outside of the things we do in episodes of bfdi and bfdia. Why would anyone wanna do that, I mean outside of the show, nothing much happens and it even gets really boring at times.
Anyway, I start to walk up to her, getting nervous. I hope she won't say no. Hopefully the only reason before why she didn't wanna go out with me was because I was a flame, and she will go out with me now that I'm mettle.
'You do realise that you've just changed who you are for her. Not personality wise but physically. But it still counts. Don't get me wrong, I would change anything about myself for her any day of the week, but still'
Umm..........what was that?
'NOTHING! That was nothing. It's just....uh...........the wind?'
Uh huh. I'm not buying it. I definitely heard a voice.
'Uh.....no you didn't'
Then why are you talking to me if your just the wind and not a random voice?

Ok, well I know Nickel knows these people from inanimate insanity, and they seem OK, but Nickel seems to not like 3 people called balloon taco and trophy as much as he likes some of the others.

I can't really, the only 1 who she's talked about enough for me to form an opinion on is this Andy guy.

Um......ok then......I guess. Well, to be perfectly honest, I hate him. He had leafy as his girlfriend and from the sounds of things they were both happy, and then he dumped her and then he turned everyone against her. Seriously, who does that?!

I was angry at her for not liking my Ferris wheel, and at least afterwards I not only tried to help her, but also I tried to stop everyone from hating her.
'And then you pretended to forget about her'
I DIDNT PRETEND! BEFORE THAT EPISODE I WENT OFF TO TRY AND LOOK FOR HER, TRAVELLING BY HAND GLIDER, AND THE WIND GOT BAD AND I HIT MY HEAD ON A TREE, WHICH MADE ME FORGET HER, AND THEN AFTER THE EPISODE I WENT TO THE DOCTORS AND AFTER THAT I DID REMEMBER AND I FELT AWEFUL FOR KILLING HER, SO I TRIED TO RECOVER HER, BUT IT DIDN'T WORK, SOMEONE ELSE MUST OF RECOVERED HER!
'Ok, calm down. Also, you felt horrible afterwards, maybe he did too. Who knows, maybe it wasn't even his fault he broke up with her, maybe he accidentally did something which hurt her, and he didn't wanna hurt her again, so he broke up with her to protect her.'
But what about turning everyone against her?
'Maybe he didn't and everyone else turned against her on their own, but because they were taking his side of the story, she thought he did'

I don't know. There's just something about him I don't like. I guess it's just annoying that he supposedly loved her, and they went out with each other, and then he dumped her for seemingly no reason. If she went out with me, I would never dump her, or even joke about doing that.

'Um..........you know nickel is also in inanimate insanity. When he said about his season 2 team, the grand slams, he said about this guy called cheesy who was a season 2 newbie and wouldn't stop telling jokes. Yep, that the only cheesy I was talking about'

'Anyway, what now?'

Oh yeah. Thanks for reminding me. I'm gonna start walking over to her again.
'I don't think you have to, she's walking over to us.'
Wait she is?!
I look over to her and she is. When she gets close enough to me, she begins to speak.
"Hi, is something wrong? You've been staring at me for 5 minutes."
Oh fudge was I actually?!
'Yeah you were. That's embarrassing.'

"Umm........you know when you start to think about something random and end up accidentally staring at someone or something randomly, and you don't realise until afterwards"

"But wait, weren't you walking over to me before you started staring?"
"Yeah, there was something I was gonna ask you, but then I got distracted"
"Oh cool, what is it."

I heard what sounded like a female voice saying "like, omg, I can't believe he's, like, asking her out already!" Coming from a bush.
"What was that noise?"
"I don't know. I'll quickly see what it was."
I walk over to the bush that the noise came from and I saw all of the freesmarters in it, eating popcorn and wearing binoculars.
"What the heck are you guys doing over here?! And.........how on earth did you all fit into 1 bush?"
"To answer your first question, we wanted front row tickets to you asking her out, but we didn't wanna interrupt it, do we decided to watch from a bush, and to answer your second question.........I actually have no idea lol" ruby answered with a laugh at the end.
"Well you failed at not interrupting. Also, bubble, what on earth made you think I wanted THAT MANY yoleberries. I only wanted 1 or 2."
"I don't know, I was bored, and we all thought it would be funny" she said trying to hold back laughter. Then they all started laughing. I could easily kill them all.
"The only reason why I'm not killing you all now is because leafy is over there and I wanna ask her out without her seeing me kill anyone, so I'm going now, before you annoy me enough to do that."
They all shut up after that. I wonder why. Note the sarcasm
Anyway, I start to walk back to leafy, and as I do I hear her say "what was it"
"Don't worry it was just some annoying creeps spying on us" I say loud enough for them to hear
"WHAT?!" She replies shocked and slightly scared.
"Don't worry I'm just talking about the freesmarters."
"Oh ok. I was worried there for a second. Anyway, what were you going to say before we were interrupted?"
"Oh well I was just gonna say that............what I mean is that............if you would ever-"
'There's no point trying, the moment is gone'

"I was wondering if you would like to go to gelatines stake house tomorrow. Me, him and a bunch of team no name were thinking of going to talk about our team strategy, like we do at a random point between each episode, and it does get slightly boring, and I think it would be more fun if you were there."
"Oh ok, sure. What time are we going?" She said, sounding slightly disappointed for some reason
"Around 3pm"
"Oh no, I can't make it. I promised some of my friends that I would video chat them then, and it's important because somethings happened, so......uh........ They asked me to help, and I can't see them in person because they..........um............ Live really far away? Maybe next time though"
"Oh ok. That's a shame but ok. If you tell me what happened I can help"
"No this is something you wouldn't be able to help, but thanks for offering"
"That's ok. I hope everything ends up ok in the end"
"Me too" she said with a sad smile on her face.
I wonder what's happening and why she's upset. I guess I'm gonna have to find out
