Coinys POV:
As today is our last day before freedom or possibly death, I have decided to confess my love to Pin. In may sound cliché, sure, but although I would love to stay optimistic and say that tomorrow we will get outta here and go home and everything will be fine, but the truth is that might not happen. We might not get home. And I'm scared. Scared of loosing her. Scared that something will happen to her. Scared that she will never know how I truly feel. And right now that fear is stronger than the fear of rejection. So that's why I'm gonna tell her.
I walk over to her and tap her.
"Hi Pin!" I say enthusiastically
"Oh, hey Coiny" she says back with the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. "So, what's up?"
"Oh, I was wondering if you-" I noticed her looking behind me, and that's when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see who it was. Firey. WHYYYYYYYYYY
"Hi, my dearest Coiny. How are you today" he said happily, oblivious to the fact that he just ruined my moment with pin to tell her the truth.
Wait, did he just call me his dearest Coiny?!
"Did you just call me your dearest Coiny?"
"Yes I did, my dearest Coiny" he said with a creepily wide smile
"Why"
"Because you are my best friend, who I love, and whom is worthy of my love"
WHAT THE HECK IS HE TALKING ABOUT?!
There was an extremely awkward silence, with both me and pin not knowing how to respond, and Firey smiling right in my face, waiting eagerly for a response. I'm not even kidding, his nose is touching my ear(?).
Wait, is he sniffing my face?!
Up ahead I heard rocky barfing. I was about to use that as my ticket outta here, but pin beat me to it.
"OhmygodRockywasjustsickIbettermakesurehesokyouguysstayhereandkeepeachothercompanyokbye!" She said almost too quickly to keep track of and rolled off towards him almost faster than the speed of light. She left me alone with Firey. Thanks a lot pin. I'm starting to question my crush on her.
Then leafy walked up to the 2 of us.
"Hi leafy" I said
She looked annoyed at something
"Hi Firey. It's such a beautiful day, I was thinking maybe we could walk together. Alone"
Why didn't she say hi to me? She normally says hi. Something weird is going on
"Oh nah, I'm walking with my dearest Coiny! After all, Coiny has always been my favourite companion, and I am never completely happy when Coiny is absent."
She looked even angrier after he said that. She then looked at me with genuine hatred. I didn't notice before that she was holding a random stick in her hand. She looked at me and snapped it. I am actually fearing for my own life, I'm not even kidding. What's going on with them?
I tried to walk away. I truly did. But Firey keeps on following me around with the same creepy smile. And anywhere he went, leafy followed close behind, making an even creepier smile than he did whenever he was looking, but giving me the death stare whenever he turned his back. He seems to be annoyed at her and she seems to be angry at me. I can understand him being annoyed at her because of how creepy she's being(perhaps he should take note of what he finds annoying to make sure he doesn't do it to others. Or more specifically, me), but why is she angry at me, I did nothing to her. Unless it's because Firey is now following me around like a lost puppy instead of her(and not the adorable kind of lost puppy, the kind that creepily follows you around and would probably snip off a lock of your hair in your sleep(if you have hair, let them near you when your sleeping and they have access to a pair of scissors that is)). This may sound like an understatement. 5 minutes ago he was saying about how he can't wait for us to be human again so that he can see my 'beautiful golden locks that could make anyone jealous' and then said right after that he can't wait for our first sleepover as humans and that he doesn't plan on watching me sleep or bringing a pair of scissors with him. To make things creepier, as soon as he said about the scissors, leafys face lit up and she asked not only to join us on our sleepover, but also said that if he did for whatever reason bring scissors, she doesn't mind holding them for him when he goes to the bathroom, before staring at me with a wide grin in her face. Someone please send help
