We had already started the karaoke competition and it was about to be my turn to sing. Coiny and Nickel decided to be funny and do a duet of the song 'Money' by ABBA. Then the freesmarters sang 'Girls just wanna have fun' by Cyndy Lauper. There where a few other songs but I can't remember what songs they where(can't think of any other songs and objects to sing then) and it doesn't matter what songs where so I won't bother remembering them.
It was getting late and I was last to sing. I decided to sing 'Demons' by imagine dragons, even though I was still nervous.
"Leafy, if you are too shy, I don't mind doing a duet with you." Firey kindly offered.
"No thanks, I'm fine." I politely lie. I would say yes but I should probably face my fear of stage fright.
"You sure?"
"It's ok. I can do it."
FLASHBACK:
The first time I went on a talent contest at school I was scared. Everyone was there. They where trying to make me feel better.
"Abbie, if you are too shy, I don't mind doing a duet with you." Andy kindly offered.
"No thanks, I'm fine." I politely reply. I would say yes, but I want to be a famous singer one day and if I only sing with other people when on stage, I will never reach my dream. You are probably wondering why I wanna be a singer. Basically, I love to sing, and I feel like maybe if I can become more famous than YouTube, and actually start being a role model for people, others might take the environment seriously like me, and try to make sure we try and stop stuff like global warming. Plus I should probably face my fear of stage fright.
"You sure?"
"It's ok. I can do it."
That was the first talent show I did and I somehow won.
FLASHBACK OVER:
I started to sing(when it's in bold, she's singing. When it isn't, she's thinking and after the speech marks is where the song ends).

I remembered my first talent show when the curtains pulled up before I sang and I was scared out of my mind. Then I saw everyone smiling at me from the Corner of my eye
