Overall this project so far seems to be a success. It appears that they turned into the objects that the a)most relate to and b)most want to turn into. I will be sure to erase their memories and transport them to the location in this computer simulated world that I have specifically chosen for them to compete in battle for dream island, however, I won't allow all of them to compete in season 1, only a handful, as too many of them together at once without things going slow could possibly cause them to remember. The remaining few can just wonder around for the first season, whilst my idiotic assistant keeps an eye on them.'
And there is a sticky note attached that says
'Update: all of the cures only half work. On all of my tear subjects(my mephones) they appear to give the person the ability to change between 3 forms:
1-fully human(or robot in my mephones' cases), where their only ability is to change which form they are
2-half human half objects, where they resemble humans, but certain qualities (e.g hair) seem to be more like objects. When first injected this is the form they take, and this appears to be the most powerful form when it comes to abilities
3-fully objects, which is pretty much the same.
In addition it is easier to put both chemical #279 and the cure into tablet form, which I have put away in the cabinet and labels should I ever have to use them again.
This cure could make them even more of a threat than they currently are, so I've got to make sure they don't get hold of it. I won't however, continue my research into finding a better suited cure, as they have all now lost their memories, and so no longer wish to escape. However, the leaf girl still remembers, and she might be a bit tricky. I need to make a being that will stop her from trying to get the others to remember. I will come up with a name for it later' (A/N when rereading this entire part I can't help but imagining the director from project freelancer reading this. I've been watching way too much red vs blue XD)
Hmm, interesting.
I guess the closest to normal we will ever be again is next to normal (A/N yay for references XD)
Firey has opened up the cabinet. Sure enough there are 2 boxes with tablets with 1 of them labelled 'chemical #279' and the other labelled 'the cure' as well as many other chemicals without any labels other than 'toxic' hazardous' and/or 'explosive'. We better not touch any of those.
"These tablets say cure but how do we know they are actually the cure? Plus the chemical the injected us with were....well chemicals, not tablets, so why would the cure be tablets? Also, any ideas on what chemical 279 is?" Firey asks after taking a good look inside.
"Trust me, it is the cure. Steve just decided to put it in tablet form because it is easier, and he labelled it in case he ever needed to use it. And chemical 279 is the thing that turned us into objects" I reply
"How do you know that?" He asks
"It said so in the files over there" I answer, whilst pointing to the files that I was reading before.
He goes over to read them, and after a few minutes he says "I don't know. He could of put them there to trick us so that we don't turn into humans again. Seriously, files this important wouldn't just be lying around somewhere that is this easy to find"
"They seem pretty real to me. Plus, they weren't just lying around somewhere easy to find, they were on a desk behind a locked door, and I doubt it would of been easy to get in without the key." He still didn't look convinced. "Ok, fine, I'll do you a deal; I'll take 1 now and we wait. If I am still alive and not sick or anything like that you guys take 1 as well and we then start moving. If I die, you get to brag to my corpse about how you were right even though I won't be listening because I would be dead" I joke
"Fine" he laughs as I take 1.
My body feels weird as I swallow. I see dark spots in my vision and feel like I'm about to fall over but I hold on to Firey to keep myself up, which works. I close my eyes, feeling sick and with a really bad headache, waiting for it to be over, whilst Firey is asking if I'm ok, but it hurts too much for me to answer. All I can think about is the pain. This last for a few more minutes, but when it stops, it stops quickly.
When I open my eyes again everyone is staring at me. I realised I have fallen to the floor whilst still gripping to Firey, and he is kneeling on the floor next to me, keeping his distance to not burn me, but close enough to make sure I'm ok, whilst asking if I'm ok.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine" I finally answer.
I look down at my hand to see it is once again a human hand. My hair falls to my side, but it isn't normal. I mean, I know it's my hair, but it isn't hair; it's a bunch of leaves!
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY HAIR?!" I shout
"Don't worry, it looks fine. It actually looks pretty cool. It suits you." Firey said. "Are you sure you're fine though?"
"Yeah. It hurts when you take it but it only last a few minutes, and then everything is fine."
"Thank god"
"Hey Firey" I start with a smirk
"What?"
"Guess who's still alive and not sick or anything"
"God dam it"
They all grabbed 1 pill each and swallowed.
