the doctor interrupted,
"he wont remember the night it happened."
the doctor walked in.
audrey looked back at me.
"before you got into the car accident, i told you t-that..i was pregnant.... youve been in a comma for two years and three months. six months after the car accident, i had rachel. your little girl."
i looked at the child as she was laying small kisses on my hand and up my arm.

my eyes were tearing up.
