long car ride

noahs p.o.v

i woke up after two hours of the ride. only charlie was awake, jo and audrey were sleeping.

" how..long til we get there?" 

i mumbled out.

"JESUS CHRISTMAS! YOU SCARED ME!"

 she yelled, waking audrey, who was on my shoulder, and jo who was laying in the floor board of the passenger seat.

"hmmm..what the f.ck?" 

audrey mumbled and groaned before falling back asleep.

jo mumbled something, that sounded like gibberish, soon going back to sleep.

" it takes 10 hours to get there, its been two...so another eight hours. woop-eey! "

she groaned, a louder groan of mine following behind her.

---an hour later-

ive been awake for about an hour, its been boring as hell.

but something happened,

something ill remember for ever.

audrey mumbled something, still asleep, she mumbled,

"hmm i love you to noah..." 

she then started to squirm.

she then started making kissy faces.

i shook her gently.

"audrey."

i whispered to her as her eyes fluttered open.

"yeah?"

"w-what were you dreaming about?"

her face went red.

"u-um..i..um.."

before she could answer charlie did for her,

" by the sound of her whispers, i could probably say she was having a dream about you noah."

i could hear the smirk on her face.

"..what did i whisper?"

"you whispered -" 

charlie started, but i finished,

"just my name..n-nothing else.." 

"ok. can we stop somewhere, i have to pee."

 audrey asked.

charlie nodded, pulling into a gas station.

audrey went in, and put ten bucks on ten, the gas station. charlie got gas, audrey peed and got us all candy, then we were on the road again. for...seven more hours.

--three hours later-----

its been three hours, i slept for one more hour, before waking up and staying up for two more hours. ive been singing along to fall out boy songs for the past hour, i never knew charlie and  jo liked this kind of music. audrey fell asleep with her head in my lap, looking at the top of the car, i layed back against the door, going back to sleep.

---dream---

i was in a cordial house, it was fanciful and in apple- pie order.

what is this place?

audrey walked in the ..living room, im guessing.

she had been crying, she was alot older now. a little girl then ran up to her, i blonde little girl with faded navy jeans and a teal tanktop.

she said,

"mommy can we see daddt today? ive never seen him."

she looked to be around three years old.

daddy? audreys with someone?

"yeah, we can go see noa-..daddy." 

audrey smiled, though i could tell it wasnt a real smile.

i jump up, then realized i violently jumped up, so i looked  down hoping i didnt wake up audrey.

i mitigated back down. i couldnt help but consider what that weird dream was about.
