MIKE
"Sir! Sir! Si Ma'am Margaux po na ambush po yung sasakyan nila."
"Ha? Nasan siya ngayon? Iready niyo yung sasakyan puntahan ko siya. Sino kasama niya? "
"Sir kasama niya po si Atty Nate. Pauwi na daw po sila dito ngayon"

My hands are shaking. Sino ang may gawa nito? Oh my God napano si Margaux. Mapapatay ko kung sino man ang may gawa nito at nasaktan siya. Oh God please.
"Sir, nandito na po sina Ma'am Margaux."
MARGAUX
Ang daming media sa bahay namin. Hanggang ngayon takot na takot ako. Buti na lang at bullet proof yung sasakyan. Kasama ko pa si Kuya. Kung hindi baka nag hysterical na ako. Nakita ko yung baril nung mamang naka motorsiklo. Dalawa silang bumabaril sa sasakyan. Yung isa sinagasaan ng driver namin. Yung bodyguards ko naipi5 sa traffic hindi naka rescue agad.
Pag baba ko ng sasakyan nandun agad si Mike. I don't know why but when I saw him, all the strength that I have left me. I crumbled in his arms. I clung to him when he approached me. The tears that wouldn't come moments ago flowed in torrents. I could not stop it. He lifted me off my feet and carried me in the house, oblivious of the people around, of the media, he murmered somethin expletive and I flinched. He must have noticed it so he murmered and assuring me that he's there. I burried my face in the crook of his neck and I could smell his cologne and after shave. He carried me to the second floor where our room is. He lay me down on the bed and sat beside me. I scrambled and sat on his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck and burried my face again where it was a few seconds ago. He wrapped his arms around me. He was murmuring soothing words. I don't know how long we sat on the bed, me on his lap and him hugging me back.
MIKE
I do not know how we ended up lying down on the bed holding each other. All I know is that she won't let me go. Every time I tried to free myself from her embrace, she would whimper and call my name. She's in shock. I slept with her on our bed. She would occasionally let out a scream and cry and would reach out to me again. I would rub her back and hug her tighter whispering to her that I am there, and she would settle down. Damn idiots, who ever did this to her would surely pay for what they have done.
Hindi ko alam kung bakitganito na lang ang pagaalala ko kay Margaux. Ever since na nameet ko siya, hindi ko man lang siya nakitang umiyak o bumigay. The news have been cruel to her. Pati ako hindi man lang ako naging nice sa kanya. Parati ko siyang pinag iinitan pero hindi siya kailanman nagreklamo. Ni minsan hindi ko siya nakitang nagreklamo. Sino ang gustong manakit sa kanya. Bakit hindi ako ang inambush? Alam ko pilitically motivated ito.
Nung makatulog na siya ng mahimbing, tinextko si Jonathan at sinabi ko na paakyatin si Yaya Linda at tsaka ako bumaba nung nakapasok na siya sa silid namin. She has been with Margaux's family since Margaux was still very young. Kaya alam ko she will feel safe pag siya ang kasama niya.
Bumaba ako at dumirecho sa opisina ko. Yung mga media na nandun nagtatanong about Margaux I just told them that I will have to talk to my brother -in-law first before I could tell them anything.
