Chapter Five: Partners

Jung Mi's POV
He kissed my hand, to make the pain go away.
It actually went away. I suddenly feel myself blushing. Aish, don't blush.

"Hey, I need to go now, I'll talk with you later!"
He ran out to the school field, probably going to find his hyungs.

"Yah, Ji Jung Mi."
I saw Im Na and her little minions.

When were they here?
"What do you want?"
I said to her coldly.

She smirked evilly to me.
"Grab her."

Her minions came and dragged me to a corner where nobody usually goes.
"YAH KIM IM NA! PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANCE."

"Shut up. This is what you get when you touch MY Taehyung."
Her minions kneed me in the stomach and pulled my hair.

"Since when he was YOUR Taehyung?"
I gritted my teeth.

She pulled my hair harder,
"Don't you dare talk to me you slut!"

I shouted loudly,
"Slut? You are talking about yourself!"

Im Na let's go of my hair and took her phone out.
"That's it."

She showed me her phone, with the picture of Taehyung kissing my hand.
"I'll show this picture to everybody if you still don't want to leave Taehyung. It might even hurt my Taehyung's reputation."

Shit. I don't want that to happen.

"You better stay far away from him."
Her minions gave me a few beatings and let me go.

"Don't do anything stupid, cause Taehyungie might be in trouble."
She grinned to me and left the corner.

I stood up, my leg was in pain, and my stomach has a few bruises. Aish, Why did this happen?

I checked the clock, to see it was 7:45am. I need to get to class now.

I lumped my leg in pain and held my stomach to class. Luckily, I made it to class.

No one noticed anything about me, which was good.
"Yah Jung Mi~"
I shot up my head to see Ji Eun.

I weakly smiled,
"Hey Ji Eun."

Ji Eun knelt down,
"What happened?"
I shook my head,
"Nothing much."

"You're obviously not okay."
She scanned my whole body with her eyes.
"Yah, you're hurt! You're leg is bruised."

I hushed her down to not get attention.
"You're too loud. We'll talk about this later, class is starting."

"It's Kim Im Na again am I right?"
I nodded.

"Aish, that ignorant brat. She'll get her revenge."
I looked down, avoiding any eye contact or attention.

"Kyahhhh!!! Taehyung Oppa!!"

"Jimin Oppaaaa!!"

Aish, it's them.  I continued looking down to avoid any attention from Taehyung.
I heard him sit behind me.

I'm safe.

"Jung Mi-sshi,"
Oh my gosh.

I ignored him and quickly took out my headset to listen some songs. It was pouring rain outside, heavily.

I listened to BTS Rain, but I also wanted to ignore him, which made me sad because, I needed to maintain his reputation.

The whole class greeted the teacher and sat down.

"Please flip your textbook to page 72."

Class was pretty normal, it was the same.
English was my first language other than Korean, so it was fast going for me.

Ugh, finally English class is over. They always teach the same thing, same topic.

The teacher spoke out,
"Students, we are going to have an English assignment about the history of Korea."

What? An assignment about the history of Korea? Is this History class or English class geez.

"Oh, please write it in English since it's English class we're having."
Well, I guess it make sense.

"The good news is, you can choose your partner for this assignment. Class president please inform me about the partners after school, you may be dismissed."

As the teacher went out the room, I quickly went to Ji Eun's seat.
"Ji Eun ah-"

Ji Eun shouted so loud and excitedly, the class looked at us.
"Jung Mi!!!!"

The whole class was looking at us. I bowed to the class and said sorry.

"Yah, don't be so loud."

She clasps her hands together,"Sorry. But do you know who's my partner??"

Huh? She has a partner already..?

"Freaking Park Jimin said he wants to be my partner!!!"
She said in a whisper-shouting tone.

I covered my mouth in amazement,
"What?? Really? Woah that's good. Maybe he's..?"

"OMO...! That's impossible!"
She slapped my arm lightly and we both laughed.

I pointed myself,
"Wait a minute, how bout me?"
And then I came back to reality, I didn't have a partner now.

"Perhaps... Kim Taehyung..?"
The corner of her lips raised a bit, sounding a bit cocky.

I showed her a big 'X', "NO."

I must not partner with him, I can't ruin anything for him.
"I don't know.. I'll be going to the rooftop."

"Be careful, you have an injured leg."
I nodded and went to the rooftop to sort out the situation.

I sneaked up with my lumped leg to the rooftop and sat on the bench.
I messed my hair, to express my frustration.

"Aish, what should I do?"
Ji Eun is partners with Jimin, I can't be close to Taehyung, what should I do?
"Who should I partner with..."

"You could partner up with me."
I turned around to see Kim Taehyung.

Arghh, when did he get here.
