"Are you crazy?" Tyler asked.
"Probably...look I'm sorry." I said.
"You brought up some random fan on stage." Josh said walking around while my and tyler sat on the couches of the dressing room.
"She's not some random fan..." I said staring at the ground. I half hoped they hadn't heard what I'd said.
"Wait...is she her?"
"...yeah. But..."
"But what?" asked Josh.
"She didn't seem to show anything towards me, it was like she didn't even know me."
"You randomly brought her up on stage. I would be all weirded out too."
"No. She isn't like that. She could honestly see a fucking demon and not be scared. For her to be weirded out by her, well I guess in someway you could say, her ex to bring her up on stage at a concert is out of the question."
"You really like her, don't you?" asked Josh.
"What makes you say that?"
"I can tell. You notice everything about her. You won't stop talking about her. She makes you crazy. She makes you depressed when she's not around."
"Josh, that's more than like, that's love." said Tyler.
"Well that's uplifting." I said, feeling even worse that not only did I think that I loved her, but apparently I did love her so much, other people could tell.
"Hey, it'll get better." Tyler tried to comfort me.
"Of course you'd say that." I stood up. "It's getting late. It was nice seeing you guys." I hugged them both and left.
I got in the tour bus and sat in my bunk. I tossed around as my head buzzed. This is a feeling I know all to well. The anxiety building up inside to where it felt like you'd explode. Guess it's time to pull out the big guns.
I reached from underneath my bunk and pulled out a plastic box. I opened it up and reached for my emergency Ziploc of ready to smoke weed. For when I was too anxious to roll one, though it would normally calm me down I was to jittery to do that. Then I heard footsteps coming toward the bunks.
Dallon appeared and saw what I was about to do. "No. First off not in the bunks-"
"Okay fine." I interrupted.
"Second off, it's not legal here."
"So? Who cares?"
"No, Brendon. Give me the weed."
"Ugh. Fine." I said handing over the box.
"And the roll in your hand." I sighed, rolling my eyes and giving it to him. I really had hoped he hadn't noticed.
"I guess I'll just be on my way then."
"What do you mean?"
I stood from the bunk. "Well I sure as hell am not gonna sit around here, I might just lose it."
"Right."
I left the tour bus and walked down the city streets. It was relaxing to be out in the cooler weather looking at all the business signs lit up against the dark night sky.
I had been walking for a while when I saw a Starbucks. Ya know what's great at 11:52 pm? Coffee. Apparently I'm not the only person who thinks so because they're open.
I walked in the door and heard a little bell ring behind me. It was practically empty, and I thought it was until something ice cold spilt into my chest.
"Oh my god! I am so sorry." said a hurried familiar voice. I hadn't looked up yet. I knew who it was, the only person who just had to be here right now. Y/N.
"Nah don't worry it's fine." I said, avoiding looking at her, then tried to walk up to get some coffee.
"No it's not. Here." she had brought napkins and was dabbing at my shirt. "Again I am- hey. Don't I know you?"
I finally looked at her. She had to be playing around with me. She was just toying with me by acting like she didn't know me. That was at least what I thought she was doing, until I looked at her face. Into her innocent eyes once again, but this time there was something wrong with them.
