Trust yourself first and all other things will just happen, that is my advice. From that point, trust can be modified and will be manipulated. You can do anything you want but realize that everything you do will forever be a part of you. Remember every choice you make will be with you your entire life, so whatever you choose to do will be based on the action you chose to make beforehand and trust that this will see you through to the next.
With that being said every mistake that you make, no matter how big or how small can be corrected, but only if you, yourself choose to do so. An exorbitant amount of wealth is spent on correctional facilities for every conceivable donation that humanity believes in for the purpose of cauterizing the public to make fix the mistakes. Yet we all make mistakes on a daily basis. It is only a personal choice as to which mistake you choose to allow to run your next action.
There will always be forgiveness for your mistakes. Though this forgiveness comes in the form of your next action. Make no mistake if you can't forgive yourself you cannot forgive another.
If you think your life is ruined and you must run away from it. Take it from me you can't and these things take time to resolve. You can run from any situation in life but you must be prepared to handle the next one, even if on your own. To have faith in an institution is OK too and you must if you do not want to be lonely. No matter what that institution is where your faith rests you must trust it fully or again it will lead to a mistake that will need to be corrected.
