"The food is done now, babe!" Liam called from the kitchen.
"Just a minute Li." You muttered quietly as you kept writing on your task. you heard Liam sigh and soon enough you felt his hands on your shoulders.
"What are you even doing love?"
"Basically, homework. A lot. And it’s to Thursday, I’ve only got five days." You smiled apologetically. "I’ll come in a minute."
"Okay. Good luck I guess." He chuckled a little and pressed his lips to your head. You smiles and sighed. You had got a few tasks from uni to finish until Thursday. It was everything you could imagine, and took all energy from you. You were stressed and got annoyed easily. Liam, your boyfriend, had a week off from work, and you just had to get your tasks that week.
More and more time were passing, and you had completely forgot about lunch. You were so into writing you didn’t even realize Liam standing behind you. He watched as you were writing about ‘historical events during 1990-’ He smiled a little, knowing you tried your hardest.
"Nicole… love, take a break." He grabbed your shoulders carefully.
"IH!" You screeched, nearly jumping out of your skin. "Liam! Oh my god!" You put your hand over your chest. "You scared me."
He chuckled at you and smiled. “You haven’t eaten yet. You should probably do.” He smiled. Your face fell as you put your laptop away.
"How long was it since you told me lunch was ready?"
"About 40 minutes ago."
"And you let me sit here?" You frowned.
"I know you’re stressed love, and I just figured if I’d let you work for another while, you wouldn’t stress as much later. Plus you look adorable when you work." He chuckled and jumped down beside you. "I also figured that you might enjoy a bath." He smiled. "So I filled the tub for you." He grabbed your laptop and put it away. He grabbed you bridal style and carried you to your bathroom.
"Thanks…" You smiled warmly and quickly undressed and got into the tub. He sat down and massaged your shoulders.
"I love you so much Liam."
"I love you too, and don’t worry about the food. I can cook more for you later." He pressed his silky lips against your hair.
