Hidden Secrets

The pain inside her

Each day as the sun starts to set

the ache builds up in her chest

she comes home and hugs her tear stained pillow case

when no one else is around she is wasted away

she cries for the pain that she has found

and screams without a single sound

others see her in the day

and thinks shes doing a-ok

but everyday as the sun sets down

she enters her own upseting pain that she has found

time hasn't healed her pain at all

or quieted her tears from her every day fall

so everynight alone in bed

she sheds those silent tears of dread

she hides her problems behind her smile

and behind her smile is a world of grief

everyone thinks shes doing ok

but they have no idea of her everyday pain

the funny thing is that no one knows how much shes hurting

many people stand beside her

and is fooled by her calming smile

she smiles through her silent pain

and cry s behind the closed doors of shame

she drowns in her own pool of sorrows

will anyone notice if shes gone tomorrow?

why doesn't anyone look past her fake smile?

who knows she could even be worth their while
