You speak to me, and i wish i could
hold onto this moment forever.

Relive it, replay it and gaze once more
into your eyes.

But i can't.

Life is a fast paced, swirling, dipping, and sliding event.
Nothing stops for you or me or anyone.

I wish, in some cases, life didn't go so fast.

I don't want to wake up at eighty years old,
unable to remember what it was like
to have a ten year old heart and
a twenty year old mind.

Why can't you and me be slow-motion?
I want to cherish you forever
and i don't think life wants me to
do that.
