Fiona sat there at the data which was collected on Roxanne's current condition.
If we continue to try and take her power it is going to kill her. Her powers appear to be so deeply rooted in her being.. her 'lifeline' as you will, taking out her powers is not just taking those out but her life. She will die if something isn't done and if it isn't done soon. Fiona muttered.
Roxanne's screams were getting weaker and weaker after each shock. She was currently having trouble just keeping her eyes open. She still wore the helmet since they never took it off and at this point she was having trouble catching her breath.
Fiona looked down at the screen that was in her hand to find that another signal was found. With this new's she quickly entered the camera feed and made it so only she can see the real feed will the rest sees a looping image.
She then accessed the signal that she found and made it so she can hear and speak to them.
...
Roy dropped out of the vent and began down the hallway.
Ugh, I wish that I've done more mission like this. he groaned unsure of the best course of action to take next. He then began to head down the hallway
"No, you idiot! Not their guards are coming! Enter the room on your right it's safe in there." Fiona growled, angered at Roy's incompetence. "Who are you?" He asked. "Get into that room and I'll tell you." she huffed.
He didn't want to take the chance with either. But remembered that Alton told him about the scientist that helped Roxie out in here. So he jumped into the room right before the guards came by.
"My name's Fiona. I'm guessing you by what just happened there that you do very few missions like this." she sighed. "Yeah. I'm called Night. I've come for the Assassin." Roy told her.
"Figured as much. I'll tell you how to get to her from here. Then it's your job to get her out of here." she told him. "How do you-" he started. "I helped here get the boy out." she answered. So this is the person Alton mentioned. he sighed.
"Alright, the coast is clear. The stairs are down at the end of the hallway. Go up four floors. She held in a room that is the first right, then the second left down, third right, then it is the fourth door on your right. I'll help you if you get lost and warn you if anyone's coming your way." Fiona told him.
Roy leaves that room and begins to head down the hallway to the stairs. The hallway to the stairs was long, a few times he had to hide to avoid getting caught.
He didn't fully trust Fiona but knew she was the best chance he had at finding Roxie in time. To get to the floor was a little more difficult than you'd think as the stairs were steep and tight.
He got to the floor but there was a lot of people here. "Go into the door on your left." Fiona's voice buzzed over the earpiece that was in Roy's ear. He jumped into the room just in time.
"You wouldn't happen to be able to make it a little darker would you?" he asked. "No." she replied.
With so many people on the floor, progress took a lot longer to be made. As Roy had to keep ducking into room's then wait long periods of time for it to be clear.
He finally got to the door to find that it's looked. "Fiona the door's locked." Roy hissed. "Shoot! Go into the door across from that one as I work on unlocking it for you," she told him. Which he did this as he sure as hell didn't want to get caught now that he was so close. This room was a janitor's closet and a dark one, well at least in comparison to the hallway which is a littler brighter than it was when Roxie came through.
As Roy, hid in the other room Fiona worked on unlocking the door. THat's when the janitor entered the room that Roy was hiding in.
Fiona saw this and cringed expecting either the janitor to be killed or call for the guards sounding the alarms. But nothing happened as if nothing was in the closet at all besides the janitor. But there was no way in or out of that room beside the one. And the janitor left closing the door behind them.
"What just happened?" Fiona muttered. "Do you have to door unlocked yet?" Roy asked. "I almost got it... hold on. There it's done you can now open the door." she told him.
"Is the coast clear?" He asked. "Yes. Go now." she sighed still wondering what just happened.
Roy enters that room to find Roxanne strapped to the board pretty much limp. Roy rushed over to her and get her down from there. Whe was about to remove what was attached to her body when Fiona stoppened him.
"Wait before you do that let me return what they took from her or she won't have a chance of making it out of here." Fiona exclaimed after Fiona did that he removed everything from her body and got her down.
He kneeled down as he held her close. Roxanne pressed the button on the side of the helmate which open the mouth piece. She took a few gasps of air before speaking.
"You should have left me here." she sighed. "Never happening ." he huffed. "We'll both get captured." she muttered.
"Can you at least stand?" he asked. "Bearly." she answered. Roy stands up and has one of Roxanne's arm slung over his shouldered.
Roxanne was having trouble keeping up with Roy's pace. they hide in many room's when Roxanne trips up and get's seen.
They get to the end of the hall which was a "T" hallway. Roy was looking out the window as Roxanne was leaning against the wall.
Night. Leave me and run... I can hardly stand. So please save yourself. I can't put up much of a fight but you can at least escape from here without me." she sighed,
"I'm not doing that! I came here to save you. So you're not staying here." he snapped. Why not! I'm not much use to them like this. So why not!" she yelled.
He went over and gave her a passionate kiss. When they broke apart she saw how close the guards were to them.
"I'm sorry about this." he whispered as he sent her out the window falling into the dump truck into it's content giving her a landing that she can live from.
Roy was fighting off the guards. He tried to jump out the window into the second dump truck but was grabbed from behind and pulled back into the building.
He was then quickly knocked uncouncious by a guard and taken away.
