It was a rather cold winter day. I could see my breath as I walk down the street. The snow-covered ground crunch under my feet.

Many people were rushing around, it's getting close to Christmas time after all. I did my shopping earlier today. I'm only up here because my mom asked me to get something for her.

Why couldn't she wait till tomorrow to get it? It is getting late even those rushing around are going home. I groaned crossing my arms.

I found the store that she need me to go to but it was close.

"Great come all this way over here for nothing." I hissed kicking the snow up from the ground. Turning around I realized I was the only one here, everyone has left, it was very quiet an deserted now unlike before.

I began to walk back home. At some point I began to have the feeling I was no longer a lone here.

I don't like this Alexandria and Roy have taught me a lot in these last few weeks. But if I had to fight a lone against someone like them there is no way. If what I'm feeling right now is true I'm in trouble. I muttered pulling out my phone I used it to look behind me. For a split second I saw something.

"Alexandria? Roy? Where are you?" I texted them. "Why?" Roy answered back. "Where at the house. Why?" Alexandria replied.

Shit! I hissed. "I'm gonna need some help. Like right now!" I sent. "Hurry." I typed but my phone was hit out of my hand into the snow. I quickly grabbed my phone and started to run.

Damn it's dead. Hurry, it hurts me to say this, but I need your help for me to survive this. I hissed.

I felt something catch my right leg. Remembering their training as I fell towards the ground i used my own momentum to cause myself to roll instead of landing on my stomach.

I looked back to see two dark human figures behind me. One rushed towards me so i jumped to the side I then tried this leg sweep move that Alexandria taught me.

I used my hands as props then swung my legs across when the other kicked my aside into the wall.

"Heh! Nice try!"

"Yes you should have known you had no chance."

"No one can save you now."

They laughed as the one pointed their weapon at me. The words Alexandria told me ran through my head.

"Never use your powers over your plants till its the last resort. Two reasons, one you will show that you are the one they are looking for. Two you have little control so it is unpredictable. Use it only to save your life Ari."

I guess now is the time to us my powers. I sighed. I focused my energy like they taught me... but nothing happened.

What?! Why didn't that work! I exclaimed.

"Good-bye." the one with the weapon huffed.

In a quick second the one with the weapon was hit and they dropped the weapon nicking my arm.

"What the-" the second was cut off as a dagger slashed their check. Another flew by and weed itself in their arm.

Well they were distracted Cat Thief - Alexandria, grabbed my arm and pulled me away.

"Thank god! Any later I would be dead."

"Yes, that's for sure. You're very lucky."

Night - Roy appeared beside us. "2 blocks down, and a left then one block down and take a right. Finally 3 blocks up and that a left and we are home free." he whispered to us.
