Chapter 16

Hi got some free time right now and I have all the work that I've done so far for this story right beside me so I thought I may as well update.

BY THE WAY, there may be a few parts not meant for children who can not handle injures, and little description of it an such. But beside that it should be fine... but really young children who is reading a story like this is surprising, but this is a warning, this part is not bad enough to be labelled mature. Now I've giving you a warning if you don't listen and have a problem with it, don't blame me I did warn you.

The Luo family was down stairs all except Mr. Luo who was in his secret basement lab.

"Roxanne went to bed early?" Dave gasped. "Yeah? What's wrong with that?" Mrs. Luo asked.

Ari took a sip of water then put the glass down. "Why does it matter Dave?" he huffed.

Then a rumbling rang through the glass, to the point where it fell off the table it was sitting on. "I think it's an earthquake!" Mrs. Luo exclaimed when it got stronger to shaking the ground beneath them.

Then a wall burst to send a strong gust through sending them flying back. Mrs. Luo and Dave hit their backs against the wall, while Ari had is left arm blamed into the wall.

"Argh!" They screamed. The crash could be heard in the lab downstairs this made Mr. Luo run upstairs.

What he found was a large chimera in the room with his family. It had flesh tarring sharp teeth, a venomous tail spike, large bat-like wings that are on its back currently folded on its back, large paws with claws that could slice you in half, with a large strong body and head of a lion.

"Oh god!" he gasped before the chimera hit him with one of its large paws sending him over to his family. It looked at the family and let out a loud roar.

It was about to go in for the kill. The power of the block was cut, which meant that the light's were out as well. This made it hard to see for very little light entered which barely allowed them to see anything.

"Move it!" a voice growled. Then something jumped from the stairs and slammed the chimera you could hear the sound of something brake then plaster fell to the ground around it.

The person landed in front of the family, they were shaking their arm having plaster fall off their arm to the floor below them.

"You won't be killing this family. " They started pulling out a dagger and a pistol, running towards the thing before disappearing before for their eyes.

They reappeared above the chimera then shot the thing in the head. The chimera fought back swing its tail at them. They dodged the tail by spinning sideways and did an up slice on the things right side. When on the ground they were shooting and slashing the chimera.

Changing it up they swapped out they're pistol and dagger, for two assassin blades one out to the left blocking the chimera protecting the Luo family who was behind them again, well the other blade was ready to strike.

"Go downstairs." The told the Luo family. "What are you-" Mr. Luo was cut off. "Now!" They growled.

He then right away began to take his family downstairs. The chimera went for them but they slashed the muzzle to stop it from getting them.

"Now that they're gone... I can go all out!" they laughed disappearing again. They reappeared sliding under the thing slashing its underbelly.

Running towards the kitchen wall when they got up from the slide they jumped up and pushed off the wall and spun around getting their blades ready. They slashed back with both blades well getting slashed on their arm by the tail.
