I got up quite early the next day. I rushed down stairs to see Lady still asleep on the sofa. To be fair I didn't have a hangover, thank The Lord. I shook my head making myself breakfast. Normally around Christmas time I'd spend it with my family but with my job I can't fly over there just in case there's an emergency or something.

My phone buzzed on the coffee table as I sat down watching tele on my day off, I dreaded getting phone calls it normally mean't I'd have to go in.

"Hello" I moaned scoffing a bowl of cornflakes down my throat.

"Hey Casey are you busy?" Reid asked while I had scoffed another spoonful of cornflakes.

I gulped before speaking "no not really I mean I was actually waiting for Hotch to ring me or something" I shrugged smoothing Lady who was still asleep.

"You get used to it" he joked. "Me and Morgan are going into the office just to finish off a couple of things before our Christmas break up we was wondering if you would like to join I mean its not fun but the more the merrier" he joked again this time I nearly choked on a spoonful of cornflakes.

"Um... To be honest I'm not one for going in on my day off but hey what the heck" I agreed, I really wished I didn't agree all I wanted to do was relax but it'll only make Reid happy.

I got in and saw Reid unpacking some of the case boxes. "What's going on?" I asked.

"Just sorting stuff out" Morgan moved some boxes into a room.

"We've been ordered to put all the case files into that room" Reid said while looking at some paper work.

"Fun" I put my thumbs up to him.

"Remember this case" Reid picked up the box.

"Yeah" Morgan nodded.

"So how can I help?" I rubbed my hands.

"You could help us with the paper work" Reid put on my desk a massive pile of paper. My face fell in horror.

"Paper work?" I questioned.

"You know it's like work but on paper" Morgan smirked at me.

"I know what paper work is" I shook my head at the pile. I sat down and clicked my pen.

"Stop doing that" Reid ordered.

"What?" I looked at him.

"You always click your pen when your either bored, nervous or just to be annoying" he smiled.

"What's got you in a mood?" I asked.

"I'm not in a mood" he backed off.

"Yeah you are" I nodded "you just don't want to admit it" I tormented him.

"I'm not in a mood" he shrugged moving boxes into the room.

"In a mood" I remarked in a high voice. I shook my head and got down to some paper work.

After we had done everything we could we went to our favourite coffee shop.

"3 coffee's please" Morgan ordered while me and Reid found a table.

"Can't believe it's Christmas time already" Reid shook his head smiling.

"Me either I'm normally with my family this time of year" I looked down, I really missed my mum and dad.

"Why aren't you?" He folded his arms listening.

"Well to be honest I didn't go because of my job I mean you know my job means everything to me and I can't just_" I paused "throw it away" I finished.
