I will hold you

-Chris's POV-
We rushed into the hospital,
I tried to catch up with the crissy who was getting rushed into ward,
Emily ran ahead.
But the doctor rudely pushed her back making her fall to her knees and sob,
I kne led to her and hugged her tight, she sobbed into my shirt,
I planted lost of kisses on her cheeks and I picked her up and carried her,
I sat on a uncomfortable metal chair and held Emily close,
Emily shook her head and sat up weakly,
"What's up" I asked softly rubbing her back,
"I have to stay awake for crissy"
"No you don't babe gets some rest I'll wake you I promise"
"I'm so scared Chris, she's hurt really bad," she said shakily,
"I know baby I know, shh, it's okay she is strong I know she will get through this" I said kissing her hands.
She nodded and snuggled into my shirt.
I lo kid at the clock next to the bright light on the wall.
11:00pm
I sighed and rested  my eyes for a bit.

"Sir"
I shot up awake, Emily fast asleep.
"Is she okay" I said worried out of my mind.
"She got a lot of glass in her shoulders and back, and she hit her head pretty bad, she also jerked her neck which will be sore to move for a while. She is lucky not glass cut her throat, she would have lost a lot of blood but she is alright, you can see her and take her home tonight, " smiled the doctor,
I nodded,
I gently shook Emily,
"Hey beautiful our little girl is awake" I whispered in her ear,
She sat up and stood up
I smiled as we kissed each other and walked into her room.
Our little Christa was fast asleep wired up with bruising all down her sides, neck and shoulders.
Stitches on her arms and also my her shoulder blades.
I clapped her soft cheek as I let a tear slip,
"Chris I think I need a lie down"
"Did you eat today baby"
"No"
"Emily I told you don't do that again you hear?"
"I know  I just was busy"
"Alright I'll wait up for crissy"

Crystal awoke about half an hour later,
I knelt over the bed and tucked her hair behind her ear,
She sat up weakly wincing a little.
I looked at her sadly.
She looked up at me, staring into my eyes with her green orbs for eyes.
And she began to cry.
"Shh shh, sweet heart I am so so sorry you have no idea" I said seriously me beginning to get emotional also.
"I'm sorry I- I shouldn't be crying" she squeaked.
"No you cry, I'll hold you" I said scooping her up and sitting on the bed.
She pulled the covers over us both.
" it was scary I didn't know what had happened, I shouted so much I got dizzy and I fell backwards.im  sorry I put you through so much trouble" she said beginning to cry,

"Hush now, it's fine, I'm the one in the wrong, I take back all I said, your not stupid or pathetic and you can tell me when you feel ready my lovely okay, I'm not gonna force you I promise, I was just worried that's all,"'i said kissing her forehead.

"Can we stay here for a bit, your comfy"
"Yeah,  your like a big teddy bear" I chuckled laying back,
Crystal snuggled into my torso and I wrapped my arms round her,
Emily climbed into bed.
Crissy looked over at her and they both smiled into each other's eyes,
Crissy lay in the middle while we both cuddled either side of her.
Together at last
