Dont call me that

-Emily's POV-
I awoke with Chris fast asleep next to me,
I kissed his cheek and got out of bed, I changed into some leggings and a long sleeved hoodie,
I did not want crystal seeing my scars. Not yet.
I'll give it a bit time, if she is onto going to be fully open with me then why should I.
This girl is scared, I don't blame her but I wish atleast she would let us in.
I went downstairs and cooked up some breakfast,
I didn't know what she ate so I just cooked up pancakes, waffles bacon, eggs, microwaved some leftover pizza for Chris, he better share,
Dads share right,
I chuckled not Chris though,
It's like telling a five year old to share his sweets with his other sibling with Chris,
I plated everything up so we can all just help ourselves,
I headed back upstairs to crystals new room and rubbed her little shoulder,
She flinched and sat up,
"Don't touch me!" She said in panic,
"I- I'm sorry I made breakfast, you alright sleep well?"
"Y..yeah actually it was okay"
I nodded and smiled,
She got out of bed and I put my arm round her taking her downstairs,
"You hear that, your father doesn't stop snoring, he drives me insane" I joke as we walked downstairs,
"He's not my dad" she said,
I gulped,
"I..I'm sorry I just-
"It's alright"
I bit my lip and served breakfast
"I didn't know what you liked so I just made stuff at random"
"Your a really nice cook" she said her voice as usual barely a whisper,
We both ate in silence sitting across each end of the table,
"Your a quiet little thing aren't you" I smiled,
She swallowed and blushed not making eye contact,
"I..I like your hair"
"Thankyou, I have some purple dye left if you want me to dye yours would you like that?"
She nodded and smiled,
"There are my two beautiful girls!" Said Chris sliding down the banister and skipping yo the table,
"I'm not beautiful" she whispered under her breath as she ate,
Me and Chris looked at each other sadly,
We kissed,
"Ah you made my pizza" smiled Chris sitting down in the middle,
I heard crystal giggle,
"You know Chris it's unhealthy eating junk for breakfast" I teased,
"Like I care, want some crissy?"
"Crissy?" I said
"It's okay of I call you that?"
She nodded and smiled "I like it" she said quietly,
"N..no thanks" she added,
"You better get used to his diet, he eats nothing but rubbish, don't mind him he's a fool" I laughed
Crissy giggled,
One we finished crystal helped clear up, she did the dishes,
"Hey crystal you dint have to do that sit down"
"It's okay, I want yo help"
Me and Chris smiled at each other,
The girl has manners,
"So what do you wanna do today"
"How about we go yo the woods, you like the outdoors right?" I suggested,
Chris hissed in the background,
"Is he a vampire"
"He likes to pretend to be one" I rolled my eyes,
"Why is he walking like a T. rex then?"
I turned around to see Chris being all goofy with his arms bent and his back arched,
He has became more of a goof ball ever since she got here,
I'm not complaining.
"Yeah I have my camera" she said quietly as we but out the bowls in the cupboard,
"Alright"

We got to the woods and headed out near the lake,
Crissy began to take lots of shot,
She had quiet a thing for photography,

-Chris's POV-
It was pretty chilly out,
It was winter so there is no one out here,
Emily snuggled into my hoodie as I snubbed her back sitting on a picnic rug looking out onto the lake.
I heard a twig snap from behind me,
Crystal put down her camera and began to climb a tree,
"Crystal be careful luv alright"
She didn't reply and kept climbing,
She got to the top and then jumped off giving me a fright,
She landed on both feet and smiled,
She picked up her camera that was on timer and showed me the pick of her legs leaping over it.
"That's clever Emily look at that"
"Woah that's awesome,"
she smiled and sat down also but not near us,
I motioned her to sit closer but she shook her head,
I sighed internally and sat in silence,
After the day was over we headed back home.
Crystal went back upstairs,
I decided to head to her room,
"U.uhh I got you some things that I thought you needed"
It was a box with a laptop, speaker, extra blankets a couple of plushies, some of my old posters.
Which was Korn misfits and a slipknot one.
A pile of clothes, deodorant perfume, hairspray and some makeup that me and Emily bought beforehand
I lay it on the bed and she smiled and looked through it,
I smiled and sat in the bed,
She git off the bed and wandered yo the other end of the room touching a acoustic guitar,
"Ah yes that's Emily's old guitar"
She automatically stopped touching it.
"Don't worry it's not that sacred" I chuckled
She picked it up and bring it to the bed.
She strummed it,
"You play?" O asked
She shook her head,
"I always wanted to learn though" she whispered,
"Here, come here I'll show you the basics"
She sat in my lap and I put the guitar in her hands,
I put her little cold fingers into place'
"Okay now strum"
She did so,
"Good now that's a E chord"
She smiled and I did the same,
"And this is a C "
She smiled

"Tada now with some practice you might be able to join me on stage" I smiled
She giggled and blushed shaking her head,
I smiled and kissed her cheek,
She went tense as I got up,
"You alright?"
"Shower can I shower?"
"Yah it's right over-
She headed where I pointed,
"-there"
I headed downstairs and onto the back yard porch where Emily was,
"Something is up"
"How?,
"I kissed her and she just tensed up"
"She didn't want you to be called dad"
I gulped
"Oh my god she hates us I knew it oh my god" Emily began to cry in panic,
"Shh shh no she doesn't she just is scared alright" I said holding her tight
She nodded and sniffled,
"Come on let's get inside"
She nodded and kissed me softly,
