Pretty little doll face

-Chris's POV-
I awoke to crissy fast asleep next to me and Emily. She was shivering slightly so I picked her up softly trying not to wake her and she lay asleep in my arms, her head resting on my chest.
Her skin was so soft and pale. I felt her spine against my arms which made her more fragile to hold.
Like a little doll.
God knows what this girl has seen or been through.
She was so hesitant to come and even just sit next to us last night cause she didn't know if she was welcome to or not,
It saddens me, I want her To know how much I love her.
How much we both love her.
She just doesn't realise it yet.
That's the problem.
She awoke and looked up at me and flinched,
She sat up and winced.
"What's wrong"
"M..my back hurts"
"Aww I'm sorry I should have carried you to bed"
"It's alright"
She rested my head on my shoulder, her still in my arms,
"Y..you don't mind right?" She said sitting up,
"Shh shh relax, it's fine," I smiled putting her head back against me,
"What time is it"
"Some time in the afternoon"
"It's alright you can skip school today" I added,
She smiled
"Good, no body likes me there Anyways"
" it will work out, don't listen to them they are just jealous" I said kissing the top of her head,
"Jealous of what"
"Of that pretty little doll face,"
"The only pretty little doll face here is her" she said pointing to Emily who was asleep on the sofa.
"She's beautiful"
"She sure is, but both my girls are beautiful, but it's normal to have confidence issues as a kid, I did, Emily did, we have all been through it, and even if we aren't model status, we sure as hell love each other and that's what matters."
"I wish there were more people with a mind like yours Chris" said crystal weakly.
" I wish there were more kids like you"
She blushed.
Emily then woke up and smiled at the sight .
"First night spent together" smiled Emily getting her Fuji film camera,
She took the shot and smiled showing us the picture of me smiling while holding crystal,
"That's a keeper"
I smiled and kissed her on the lips.
"I'll go make breakfast-
"Ah ah ah how about I go make breakfast you two have some girly time together."
Emily smiled
"Can we please do makeovers?"
"Okay" crystal smiled
Emily cheered and scooped her up and headed up stairs.
I smiled and fried some pancakes.
