-Chris's POV-
I walked into crystals room quietly with a glass of orange juice,
She has school today, Emily said she wanted to wake her up, but she looked exhausted and told her to have a lazy day today,
I entered her bedroom, the little cutie was fast asleep,
I sat on the end of the bed and tucked her soft hair behind her ear
Her eyes flickered open,
I smiled "morning, you have school today yes?"
She nodded and sat up yawning, I handed her a glass of orange juice and she took a sip,
I handed her pinafore and uniform and left her to get changed,

She came out quietly,
Emily got out of bed to come see,
"Aww honey you look so cute" smiled Emily,
She blushed as I put my arm round her,
"Smile you two!" Smiled Emily getting out her camera,
"Right now let's get you to school" I smiled
I dropped her off at the gates,
"You gonna be okay?"
She swallowed and nodded "I'll be fine" she said quietly leaving the car,
"Crissy?!" I yelled from the car,
She turned to me
" I love you" I said concerned
She looked down and walked across the street

-crystals POV-

"Hey weirdo who is that fag. Your dad?"
"He's not my dad" I replied looking down,
"Oh so he is your boy friend then, geez what a slut,," said the school bully pushing me to the ground
I'm not liked at school.
I get beaten up a lot.
I felt a sharp pain at the side of my face and I fell to the concrete,
I felt someone grabbed my ankle and dragged me across the ground ripping my tights,
I squealed "get off!"
The grabbed my hair and threw me against the wall,
The bell rang and everyone went to class,
I limped to the bathroom and locked myself in there for the rest of the day,
I cleaned myself off and didn't go to class,
I left school and I saw Chris at the gates standing by his car,
On his phone,
Great I have explaining to do.

-Chris's POV-
I saw crissy walk up to the car her head down,
"Hey darling are you okay?"
She shook her head and got in the car,
"Oh my god what happened, that's it I'm talking to their pare-
She grabbed my arm pulling me back into the car
"Can we just go home?"
"Alright" I nodded
I drove home,
She got out of the car and stormed up stairs,
"Hey honey how was school?" Said Emily
"Bullshit" she huffed storming to her room,
"Hey don't talk to your mother that way"
"She's not my mom and your not my dad" she said slamming the door making Emily flinch
I tried to make Emily look at me but she shook her head and headed out to the garden.
I opened the door to her bedroom and seen her staring at herself in the bathroom mirror
I hugged her softly kissing her forehead,
"Why haven't you took me back yet like the last ones"
I held her tighter,
"Because we love you crystal, we wanted a family and Emily, she can't have a baby"
She looked down,
"I've treat you both horribly ever since I got here and I'm sorry"
"I know it's hard for you crystal, I get it, just I'm just worried about Emily, she has been through a lot,"
She nodded "I just find it hard to let people in and trust people"
"I know" I whispered hugging her again,
"Come one let's clean you up" I said
She sat up on the counter and I plastered her knees and put cream on her bruised little face.
"Can you walk?" I asked helping her off
She winced,
I scooped her up and placed her in bed,
"Hey I have a secret stash of candy, I'll give you the jar but shhh don't tell my girl, she'll kill me,"
She smiled "shh"
I came back with the sweets and blankets
"Oh and hey I know that you don't wanna call us your parents and I get that, and I know you dont exactly love us as parents but that doesn't mean we don't love you"
