Chapter Twenty-Five

I know that Zeus and Athena went to Sara's restaurant just to find me.

The halfbloods went hunting today. I followed them, but I'm invisible. I don't want them to notice me.

When Athena Sinclaire is already alone, I decided to show myself.

"You've already decided to show yourself" She said.

"You've finally figured out what I am," I replied.

She stopped.

"You wanted me to know," She eyed me.

"Why did you choose me?" She asked, her voice sound confused.

"Because you're the key," I said. My voice was so low that sound like whisper.

"Key to what?" She asked.

"You are more likely to understand my situation, Athena Sinclaire."

"I won't understand it completely if I don't know what kind of Half Blood you are, Seige"

"You need to tell me what you are. You need to enlighten me with your situation so I can finally conclude if you're a foe or not,"

I stepped back, while smiling at her.

She's wondering what I'm going to do.

I stand straight.

"I'm a half human,"

"Half angel," I said as my pure white wings show off.

"I'm a nephelim" I show her my wings that made her breathless.

"H-how?" She asked.

"Angels aren't part of--"

"The pyramid, I know" I cut her off. "Our kind were already extinct before the pyramid was even made."

It's true.

"But the books I've read---"

"Doesn't have straight facts"

"I'll explain everything to you if you come with me"

"Zeus will be worried" She shook her head.

"I'll just let him see me and I'll come with you"

"If that's what you want" I said.

I can read minds or hear the thought of others. It's been a long time since I used that power.

I tried to read Athena's mind.

'I'll come with her. I cannot let the moment pass'

'kuya or maybe enzo will find me. I'm gonna leave a letter for Enzo'

That's what she thinks before running away.

I watched as athena run faster.

A few seconds away, I can't see her anymore.

I climbed the tree in front of me and sit on it's branch.

Few minutes more, Athena is already on the place where she left me awhile ago.

"I fly, you run" I said. "Just follow my lead"

I unfurled my wings.

I looked at Athena. She looks amused and shocked.

"Where are we going?" She asked.

I flapped my wings that made the wind increased.

I started to fly while Athena is running while following my lead.
