Chapter Twenty

After three hours, I decided to go back to the Academy. I went to the Town Square because I want to be alone.

I saw Zeus before I entered Dawn.

He walk towards my direction and Asked;

"Where have you been?" He asked.

"D'yan lang sa tabi tabi, kamusta?" I said.

"Kakauwi lang nila so it's back to normal for us. Hindi talaga dumating ang kuya mo?"

I shook my head and smiled.

"It's not the first time he stood me up," I replied. it's a lie actually.

"You're not in good terms with your brother?"

"You could say that,"

"We still have an hour before dinner. What do you wanna do?"

I smiled because of what he said. He's not talking about Flame lately.

"Do you want to check on her first?"

"How'd you know about---"
"I forgot that you're Seige. You know stuff,"

"Ash's with her right know so it's not a good idea---"

"Takot kang makita kayo ni Ash?" I asked.

"Hindi naman sa ganon"

"Then what's pulling you back?"

"I thought you wanted to be civil? Wala namang Mali sa pagkamusta sakanya"

He glared at me.

"Maybe after dinner, Samahan mo ako"

"So what do you wanna do?" He asked again.

"Pare!" I'm shocked when I heard Asher's voice.

He looked at me.

"You're here"

"Yeah she's here, Ash. Thanks for pointing the obvious" he rolled his eyes and he looks gay but he's cute though.

"What do you want?" Zeus asked.

"Uhm ano..." He scratched the back of his head. Looks like he forgot what he want to say.

"C'mon dude spit it out. I don't have all night" Zeus said, Irritated.

"Anong gagawin niyong dalawa?" He asked.
I have a feeling that that's not what he want to say.

"Sasama ka na naman?" Zeus asked.

Asher only send him smile.

"May sasabihin ka ba talaga?" Zeus asked again.

Asher said something to Zeus. It's about Ezra's and Enzo's Birthday and about the social night.

"My mouth are sealed" I said.

"We have another exam in a few weeks or so and the next level starts. You and I are going to be the first one on field, the battle remember?" Asher asked with a smirk on his face. "You still up for it?"

"Of course I am" Zeus smirked at him too.

I'm actually out of place here.

"Better start the training now, Sinclaire" He nodded at me.

"I'll see you both later" He said before walking away.

"Is it just me or he seems a little moody?" I asked.

"Yeah he's a bit moody today because of his Mum but who cares?"

"You're mean"

"Let's go to the library. Hanapan nalang natin ng libro si Aiane para hindi siya maging bored" He said and lead the way to the library so I followed.

Before we reached the Library, we saw Ezra standing in the front of the bulletin board and she look a lil bit irritated.

"Anong tinitingnan mo dyan?" Zeus asked.

"Are you seeing this?" Ezra asked.

"What's that?" Zeus asked.

"Lockhart High Wolves are going to pay Sinclaire Academy a visit. Well that's going to be fun" Zeus said. He's obviously teasing Ezra because I know Ezra hate wolves But she has a mate. And her mate is a wolf. But she didnt know it already.

"Oh you shut up!"

"How is that fun?! The whole Academy is going to filled with mutts!"

"What's so wrong with that?" I asked.

"What in Academy and mutts did you not understand, Seige?" I asked her a question and she answered me a question, too.

"She just hate wolves,"
"There is nothing wrong with them being here" He said to me.

He looked at Ezra again.

"Sa Next level pa, Ez. Chill ka muna" Zeus said.

"Chill your face! That's weeks from now!"

"Your birthday too," I added

"I can't believe my very own Mother organized this," Ezra said while staring at the announcement.

"Auntie Carly? Paano mo nalaman?"

"That's her signature, Stupid! Bulag ka ba?!" Ezra said before storming off.

"And here I thought you were just the one who who had anger management issues," I looked at Zeus to see his reaction.

"I think I like better when you weren't talking at all," He said and I laughed.

We reached the Library and there's no student in there but I felt someone's presence. Maybe its... flame?

Zeus didn't noticed it, but supposedly he's the one who notice it first because he's a vampire.

I just ignore it and followed Zeus.

I know Cassandra Flame is asking herself what I really am.

She knows something.

And I don't care.

I walk and looked at him.

"Looks lile the librarian's out too," I said.

"What are you implying by that Van Syckle?"
He asked.

"It means we can do this," I winked at him and shouted.

He's laughing like crazy while his hands are on his tummy.

"Y-you..."

"You are one crazy girl"

"Crazy side comes out sometimes and right now is sometimes"
