Chapter 11: Old Reality and New Rules

Bellamy

As soon as his eyes met Clarke's again, she was gone. Already, busying herself with more work but this time she seemed alive while doing it. He can tell she's tired.

" You need to rest." Bellamy says, leaning over a table, watching her scurrying about.

" I'm fine." She lies and Bellamy knows

" Your the worst liar."  She rolls her eyes in response and exits the tent in a huff

Minutes later, they're heading out the tent to give their people an explanation of how Bellamy is alive, considering they all thought that he was dead less than an hour ago. However, they both make their way to Abby's office, walking straight past the turning head in their direction.

"Bellamy.....your Late, what took you so long?" Abby asks from behind a desk

" I've only been here 10 minutes " He says back, cautious of what's too happen

"Well since your back I assume that you'd like to be on the guard like you were on the Ark. Providing the fact there will be no more....incidents."she says and all Bellamy sees is red; how could she have the nerve to say that?

"Abby, I know that your chancellor but this is not the Ark. We don't need guards walking around camp, we just need Lookout 24/7. There's a difference." He tries to explain but she's not having it.

" Bellamy, I respect you and all you've done for these people while we were on the Ark but, your not in charge anymore. These changes will be hard for you and I don't expect you to-"

" Changes? What changes?" He asks annoyed, she raises an eyebrow in surprise.

" Well, since we're on the ground the rules how to be reapplied and new ones have to be reinforced to keep everyone in line." Is she joking? Bellamy thinks

"Order, what do you mean order? Everybody is in order."

" With all due respect Bellamy. Your people are not in order. They are living like animals. And you've been gone for the last 3 weeks so how would you know."

" With all due respect, Abby. My people were sent down by your people, including Clarke to die. Whilst we have been saving all your asses." He argues

" That wasn't the plan Bellamy and you know it. And you only went to that place because of Clarke." Abby argues back

" STOP FUCKING LYING!" He shouts before taking a breath and calming down," Clarke told me why we were sent down here so don't bother making up petty excuses."

"She told you?"  She says disgusted

"Yeah, she did. She trusts me and I trust her." He says confidently

" You do.... So I take it your going to tell her what you did to Jaha?" She's playing that card,really?- Bellamy laughs to himself

" No." he responds

" I guess your trust with Clarke isn't what you think it is then." She smiles wickedly

" I told her as soon as we got down here, she was the first person I told."

" Well then If you too are so trusting of each other why dint you just lead everyone."

" We'd do a better job than you and Kane." He says harshly
