Chapter 36: Locket

Lisa woke up to a terrible headache, to make it even worse the guys had all of a sudden decided to wake them up after dawn. Curse whoever it was that kept slamming the door, thanks to them she was tossing and turning all night long.

She barely slept for a few hours and now was on her way to the lounge downstairs. Lisa yawned, carefully walking down the steps. She can't even think straight.

"You're up early," Taeyong whispered sarcastically, since Lisa was the last one arriving. She didn't have the energy to put up with his mockery and so she ignores him and sat down beside Jia.

It was just a brief meeting that was held. Its been a long time since all of them came together to talk. Xiumin was there too and even he shared his own few experiences similar to theirs.

For half of the meeting, it was Ten and Johnny clowning around to lighten the sleepy atmosphere.

Hansol reminds them to continue training since now that they were on their own, it was important to always be ready. Without guidance from Morgana, the guys were all there was for the girls.

Hopefully after years of training given by the witch to the fellow guardians, they'd be able to be the rock for the girls.

"I guess that's all for now, you could still snooze for a while or so. I'll call everyone for breakfast later on," Xiumin says, walking away.

They were all wide awake by now, except for Lisa who seemed to have been sleeping quietly for the entire duration of the meeting. Taeyong laughed, he didn't even know when she fell asleep.

"Its alright, I got it." He says when Jia was about to wake her up. The girls watched as Taeyong gently pats Lisa on her cheeks but the girl was in such a deep sleep that it made him sigh in defeat.

Taeyong slips his hands under her and carried Lisa in his own arms. The rest of the girls were already in their rooms by the time he walked upstairs.

She wasn't that heavy, and Taeyong was glad he managed to make it all the way up to her room without breaking a sweat.

He pushed her door open, and walks towards her bed. Taeyong carefully lowered her on bed, dragging the sheets up to her chest as he tucks her in.

Taeyong chuckles in disbelief as he sat by the edge of her bed for a while, thinking of what he did just now.

He brushes away some hair strands that were covering her face and pinches her cheek gently.

Even after doing so Lisa still had her eyes closed which made him smile. Taeyong ran his fingers down her hair, silently watching her sleep.

She is kinda cute after all, he thought to himself.

"Goodnight sleepy head," he murmurs as he heads to the door.

It was almost sunrise and Winwin knew it'd be useless to try and catch a few more minutes of sleep. He was out on the open space, something like a balcony, and had wrapped a blanket all over himself as he sat on the bench eyeing on the sky.

"Winwin," He turns to find Mei looking at him with an amused smile, "What are you doing here all alone?" She asks, approaching him.

"I'm just watching the Sun rise," he responds shortly. Mei leans over by the bench and looks up to the sky, the darkness was slowly changing into a lighter colour.

There were hues of yellows and reds from a distance, maybe that's where the Sun will come up.

"Would you like to join me?" He spoke a minute later, still looking over at Mei as he taps on the spot beside him.
