Once I was so in love with you
That I caught a star with a fishing pole
And reeled it in home
To make a necklace for you to wear
How was I to know
That stars burn their stardust counterparts
And that even I have a heart
Than can be broken
Just be open
I'm sorry that it left a scar
Know that the scar on my heart
Isn't as obvious
But is just as permanent
