Alright alright alright! I'm back for just a quick update (or as quick as I can given the semi-healed condition of my wrist) to inform you guys of the 'Giving Way to the Light' art contest! Let me tell you, it was NOT easy coming up with a winner. The more I stared at the drawings, the more conflicted I became (had to take a brake for the sake of my sanity and show 'Rise of the Guardians' to my grandpa ;D ), and I just kept debating with myself until the last second which is why this is coming to you guys at the last possible second.
I really wish I could give second and third place prizes, but I didn't really know how I could do that given the fact that I can't actually see any of you and, like, give you a cookie or something. Then I was thinking, "What if the first place winner chose their prize first, then the second place winner got second pick, and the third place winner got what's left?" Because really, all of you guys deserve a prize. But, this is the best I could do. That's already more than I had bargained for when I started this contest at the beginning of this summer (wow, time does fly!)
Anyway, here are our two honorable mentions first:

Again, look at the awesome wing details!!! I could never have the patience to sit still for that long and draw each feather! This is also the only pick I got that was in full color. So sweet!

TravelzBook!!! Travelzbook actually turned in two art pieces and both of them were amazing! One was done computer animation style (the only one to do so), the other drawn by hand- both equally impressive.
