tyler had all of the flower strings that josh had made him saved in a pile on his desk. they weren't white anymore, but that wasn't the point. they were proof, that there was a boy in a clearing in the woods and he cared about him. they were proof that the world could slow down long enough for tyler to appreciate the simplicity in white daisies.
he smiled whenever he saw them.
madison saw him doing just that one time, and she turned away without a word, but tyler could see her ecstatic grin in the way that she moved.
