"Bullshit!" I exclaimed, my mouth couldn't help but let out a smile as Steven's cheeks flushed.
He awkwardly shrugged as he continued to play video games with Tanner. "I just did it to make him quiet. It would've been rude to just say shut up." He glanced up at me.
My face immediately crinkled. "And kissing him without consent is okay? I think he'd rather get told to shut up than be kissed out of nowhere!" I couldn't help but get annoyed as he continued to play some type of shooting game with Tanner.
"Look, I said I was sorry." Steven sighed, smashing down on the buttons harshly. "I didn't mean it in a negative wa-" He was interrupted with Tanner's voice.
"Dude stop camping! You're such a pussy!" Tanner exclaimed, making Steven laugh out loud.
"I can't with you straight boys and your straightness." I rolled my eyes as I stopped talking, only then to talk again. "Wait, doesn't that make you Bisexual? Or are you not attracted to guys."
"I'm attracted to love." Steven's light blue eyes met mine fully now. "If that answers your question."
I sighed. "I guess." I proceeded to walk back into my room as the loud noises of the T.V kept releasing loud gunshots from the game.
"Arielle?" Alec spoke softly as I jumped onto my bed.
"Hm?" I laid my head onto my pillow as I looked back at him.
"Are you going to the swimming banquet tonight?" He asked, closing the door behind him to cut out the loud obnoxious video game noises.
"Eh, I don't know." I bit my lip as I craved for ice cream. "Probably not. I don't even know what a swimming banquet is. Plus, it'll be awkward, there's gonna be like 20 something guys, and I'm just there like an awkward statue." I explained, putting my short hair back.
"You should come." Alec smiled. "You'll get to see my team." His cheeks all of a sudden flushed.
I narrowed my eyes at him as I playfully widened my mouth. "You're blushing! Do you have a crush on someone?" His face looking slightly embarrassed.
"N-no." He smiled. "It's just that I wanted you to see them in person, since you are competing with us and all."
"Eh." I sighed. "I kinda don't wanna do it. You can catch me at home watching Stranger Things." Both of us laughed.
"If you change your mind, just tell me. A new teammate of mine will be taking me." He proceeded to walk outside as I quickly interrupted him.
"Who's this teammate?" I queried curiously.
I'm nosy I know.
"His name is Jesse, he's super nice." He threw me a smirk.
Jesse? That name sounds familiar. Do I know him? I swear I've heard this name somewhere before? Meh.
"Oh, nice." I nodded my head at him, returning his smile. "I'm pretty sure I'm gonna stay home. Have fun though!" I cheered, watching him walk out of my room.
