Nia's POV:
I woke up kind of early so I crept downstairs to see if Lyla was awake- she was. I knew she would be, I knew her sleeping pattern. She looked up at me when I walked into the room and I'm sure she was confused on what I was about to say, "I don't hate you Lyla," she gave a little nod and a small smile escaped her mouth,
"me and Simon didnt actually go there, you know, I wanted to tell you but before I could, you walked out!" she sounded disappointed with herself, like she failed. I walked over to her and sat of the sofa where she had been sleeping all night and admitted,
"It shouldn't have bothered me so much, Simon was never mine to claim, if you guys are going to be together, then you can be!"
"I don't want Simon, you do. Try him! You never know what he might say!" Lyla hugged me tighter than ever, it felt like she was never going to let me go until we heard quiet footsteps behind us,

"Morning guys!" Meg chirped from the hallway, "I would make you some breakfast but honestly I don't want to cook!"
This made both me and Lyla laugh and we followed her into the kitchen, "I see you two have sorted things then?" We both gave a little nod then smiled at eachother, "honestly guys, you two are like a teenage couple! are you not going to speak?" Meg was laughing by this point which made us all laugh and then I realised, Meg was pregnant.

"So Meg how are you?" I was hinting at her to tell me the news,
"Fine just a bit tired after yesterday!" she shuffled out of the room with a glass of Fanta and a bottle of Dr Pepper and went back upstairs to her bedroom. I wonder why she wasn't tell me about her exciting news? if it was me, I would want everyone to know.

Lylas POV:
I'm so happy that me and Nia are talking again, yesterday felt like a million years without having anyone to talk to. This time I can't mess our friendship up, it has to stay strong, before Meg wriggles her way in between us.

Still, I feel like there's something going on between Nia and Meg. Nia asked her how she was then she gave some lame response and shuffled back to bed! Weirdo!

Short, boring chapter, they just had to make up.
Next few chapters will be away from Nia and Simon but things will pick up afterwards.
