"We're here." Nettie's voice broke the silence as the car stopped. Tea heard noise, lots of it. Screaming and laughing and cheering. But with a blindfold on, Tea didn't know the situation. She felt Nettie's hand tug her out of the car.

"You can take the blindfold off now." Nettie's voice was practically a breath. Tea reached her arms behind her head and untied the blindfold, letting her vision adjust to the light.

Before her in a single blink, there was a crowd of people, all garnishing clothes of every color, holding hands and singing joyfully. Around were rainbow balloons and pride flags galore. Tea took in a huge breath and felt herself smile.

"Worth the wait?" Nettie grinned next to her.
