Sorry love,
lost my way
in the grey
Thoughts I have from above.
Their lips didn't fit together.
They didn't care what their lust hasn't said.
Affection shouldn't be held onto by a thread.
We were the misrepresentation of what we fantasized infatuation could be.
Standing above this red sea
Our feet so close to the end of what we couldn't see
Confident in a mirage meticulous unseen.
In the end
They were like two pieces of a failed star,
Their attachment was set afar
A want became a great condescend.
The beginning of something unsaid
Realizing what they couldn't commend.
What a fraud we have come to be
Our dreams were unable to be seen.
In the end
All we have been were two pieces of a failed star.
