Joey's P.O.V.

Vikki caught up before I got to class. "Hey, Joey!"

I stopped and looked around, dreading what I'm gonna hear from her. "I asked. He.. Well.. He doesn't like you anymore.."

There was a pause.

"Joey, tell me everything about  him that you didn't tell me. You've been hiding something from me, I know."

I kept quiet.

"You've gotta be strong, Joey. This guy is not worth your time."

The last week I did tell her about our relationship and all, but I didn't tell her how I suspected he didn't like me and those stuff I didn't want her to know.

I looked down and bit my lips. I've never been this weak in front of anyone. But when it comes to him, I'm speechless..

"What exactly happened?"

I took a deep breath. I can't keep it inside any longer. I have to tell someone. Words began tumbling out. "He's been ignoring me for days. He didn't reply my messages, and when he does, he takes 2 hours or more. I've been going crazy over this for almost a week.

I stopped to catch my breath. "Go on." Vikki gave an encouraging nod.

"..I've never expected him to say those things..He's changed.. The way he replied my messages.. I think he spends more time chatting with them than with ME. I still can't make myself believe that this is all real. He's ignoring his girlfriend for some girls in his class.."

Vikki let out a sigh. "He's not the same anymore, everyone can see that except you. He's not the sweet guy who buys you food every day anymore."

"Has he really changed that much?Really?" I still can't make myself believe this was real. Maybe I can wake up anytime now..

"Girl, do you even know what he's doing? He likes people running after him, like what you're doing right now. So ignore him?" Even she sounded a little uncertain.

"I can't ignore him. I've tried and I nearly went insane!" I covered my face again.

"Joey, look at me."

I slowly raised my head, eyes watering. She looked into my eyes.

"Break up with him."

"I snapped my eyes wide. "After all this? After all the things we've been through? After how hard I tried to get together with him again? No.." I stared at her in disbelief.

"Can't you see what he's doing to you? He likes people running after him! He broke  your heart, he broke your soul, he nearly drove you insane.. AND HE DOESN"T CARE... C'mon!"

"But--"

"He has changed, Joey. He isn't the same anymore." Vikki was serious again, and looked at me in the eye.

"I can't do that?!" I said quietly, denying what she told me.

She stared at me again and then sighed. "Class is starting. We're going the same way. Let's go."

I walked with her in a zombie-like state. My mind was like a wild washing machine.

When we reached our class, the teacher was already in there. Both of us hurriedly sat and kept quiet, trying not to draw attention, and I don't want anyone to see my red eyes.

Vikki opened her book and whispered hurriedly," Just.. Consider breaking up with him." She gave me another worried glance and started solving a math problem.

I just stared at her, and whispered.

"That's impossible..."

Fliss' P.O.V.

I've tried my best. That's all I can say. I'm exhausted and everything.

I hate the world.

Sigh.
