Chapter 13: Singing Sammy

Jacks PoV
I was sitting in the front room and I was playing overwatch. I hadn't seen Sammy for awhile. 'Maybe I should check on her.' I thought as I parsed the game and walked out the front room. I walked up the stairs to the upstairs hallway when I was suddenly hit with the sound of beautiful singing and guitar. I walked over to Sammy's door (A/N: the door was half open.) I watched as Sammy sat on her bed and played and sung a song I had never before. (A/N: the song at the top.)

"Been around the world and back this year
Told myself I wanna face this fear
But I don't think I can stand on my own
She's got eyes like spring, legs like the summer
Everybody says she looks just like her mother
But I think she wants that left alone

But it's quite the opposite this time

"Hey trouble." I said. I made her jump. She turned around and smiled. "What you singing?" I asked as I walked over and sat down next to her. "Oh it's a song called around the world and back." she said as play with her guitar strap. I smiled. "Hey you should play that at your schools talent show." She looked at me confused. "How did you know about the schools talent show?" She asked. "I found out because I got you schools news letter." I said as I opened it up on my phone. She nodded. "Hey trouble, I didn't want to yell at you the other day, and I didn't want to yell at you in front of your friends." I said as I put my hand on her shoulder. She smiled at me. "Yeah I know." She said. I smiled and then left the room.

Sammy's PoV
I sat on my bed and thought about what Jack said. 'Maybe I should enter the school talent show.' I thought. I lied down on my bed and sighed. Then suddenly something knocked on my window. I sat up and looked over. I got up and walked over to my window and opened the currents. "Hey glow stick." Aidan chuckled as he sat in the tree outside my window. I gasped. "Aidan what are you doing?!" I yelled. "Shhh!" He shushed me. I opened the window. "Come in." I said as I stepped aside. He shook his head. "Nah, I can't stay long, my mum thinks I'm in my room right now." He said as he giggled like a girl. "So why are you here?" I asked not trying to be rued. "Just thought I'd come say hi." He said as he waved. I waved back. "Hey Sammy, I quickly popping to the shop, do you need anything?" Jack called up the stairs. "Um... No thanks!" I yelled back. "I'd better go, oh and Sammy, you have an amazing singing voice." Aidan said as he began to climb back down the tree. "Bey." I said as I waved at him as he ran down the road.
