"So Kevin wants us to ward heaven against angels, what's new here?" said Alfie. We were back in Charlie's little mission control zone. She was pretty much unfazed by the comment and probably ignoring us.

"He what?" asked Sam.

"He said we could ward all the gates in heaven that way the angels can get near the gates," said Cyrus. "Smart guy."

"Then Alfie ruined the really easy plan and said we had to do it in our own blood," I added.

"I don't make the rules," said Alfie.

"Blood?" Repeated Sam.

"Yeah," I said. "Some nonsense about sacrifice."

"We're warding heaven if you're not willing to give anything to the spell it won't hold," said Alfie. "We have to do it in blood."

"We need to get more hunters involved," said Cyrus.

"I don't know about that," I said. "For some other hunters all this might be a bit of a gray area. We're fighting angels and a lot of us aren't exactly human. I mean we got a witch, a werewolf, a skin walker, five 'abominations', my brother can move things with his mind, I'm a prophet, Dean has the Mark of Cain, Cas is a fallen angel, we associate with Crowley, this was all a dead guys idea, and Cyrus is a Frankenstein."

"They don't have to know any of that," said Sam.

"No she's right. If Ethan needs to wolf out or if Marcey needs to fly we aren't going to be able to hide that."

"That's a lot to do with just us. I mean there's a lot of us but it's not an army."

"We've done more with less," said Dean. "Besides its not like this is the first time we've had to fix heaven."

"Right it's the third time," I said. "And all the other times really bad shit has happened to Cas. Notice every time you mess with Angels bad things happen to Cas? And every time you mess with hell bad things happen to Sam? And every time you find something new bad things happen to Dean?"

"That's not true," said Dean.

"Well," Sam said. He shrugged "she's not wrong."

"Everyone is going to be fine," said Dean.

"Well I hope so because we may have a lower tolerance for death than you do."

"What?" asked Sam.

"You have a very high tolerance for death. To most people, death is permanently fatal even in small doses."

"Guys we really can't do this on our own," said Cyrus. "We would lose way too much blood trying to seal all the gates."

"Fine," I said, "but we need people we can really trust to help us take over heaven."

"Well we don't have a lot of people we trust," said Dean. "We don't know people for very long. This life is kind of short."

"What about people who aren't alive anymore?" asked Cyrus.

"Well they're kinda hard to ask for help."

"Okay but the battle is taking place in heaven," I said "so we have . . . Bobby and Ash are definitely up there."

Dean sighed. "We do know a lot of dead people."

"That doesn't solve the blood problem," Cyrus reminded us. "Dead people don't bleed."

"Alfie would it still work if we took blood from other people up there and used it?" I asked.

"No it has to be blood from the person casting the spell," said Alfie. "Otherwise it won't work."

"What if we start taking blood from ourselves and storing it until we build up enough to seal the gates?" suggested Cyrus.

"I think it would work," said Alfie. "But that could take a while."

"We have to be able to seal it completely once we're up there," said Sam. "The risk outweighs the time limit."

"Right," I said. "So we just keep doing what we're doing until we've got enough blood."

A/N

Hey peoples!

Or at least everyone who's still reading. Last I checked there were only seventeen of y'all and then I left for a couple of months.

Sorry. I don't have an excuse. I know this is short and crappy and doesn't really make up for my absence. I've changed my mind about how the book is going to end and there will not be a sequel. It's been nearly two years and I no longer like my original plan. I'm sorry I'm a crappy person. Thank you everyone who's still sticking it out with me and my crappy infrequent writing. I am so sorry.

LURV CHU ALL!!!!
