2 Months Along| Nubia's Mom| Relapse| Eric's Parents

Nubia found out she was 2 months along. She didn't think she was pregnant, she just thought she was gaining weight.

It was the day after the doctor's visit and Nubia was lying in bed.

"Nubi you should eat this."

"Eric I'm gonna throw it up."

"Baby- "

There was a knock on the door.

"I'm gonna go see who's at the door. You better eat this soup."

Eric got up and went to open the door.

It was a woman.

"Yes?"

The woman was frail and pale.

"U-U-Umm does Nubia live here?"

"Maybe. Why?"

"Because I need to speak to her."

"For?"

"I need her help."

"How do you know my wife?"

"I'm her mother."

Eric was shocked.

"Um can you just um sit on that chair, "Eric pointed to a chair on the porch, "and I'll be out in a minute."

He walked to their room and sat down on the bed.

"Who was it?" Nubia asked.

"Um your mom."

The look on Nubia's face was not happy.

"I do not want to talk to her."

"Babe- "

"I do not want to talk to her. I do not want to hear any apology that she's has to give me."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

"Babe she looks pretty sick, maybe you- "

"Eric I don't care. She never cared about me so why should I care about her?"

"Okay."

Eric went back to the door and told Nubia's mom that she had to leave.

"She doesn't want to see me?"

"No. She's not feeling well."

"Okay. Can you tell her that I'm sorry for everything?"

"Um yeah."

The Next Day...

Nubia was not happy that her mom showed up at her house yesterday.

She did not want a relationship with her at all. She didn't care about her sorry ass apology.

But Eric thought different.

"Maybe you should talk to her."

"How about no."

"Babe- "

"Look I have to leave for work."

"It's Saturday."

"I know. It's overtime. I'll be back at 2."

"Okay. What if she comes back?"

"You tell her I do not want to see her. Okay?"

Eric sighed, "Fine."

Nubia kissed Eric goodbye and left for work.
