This is about a woman named Nubia Princeton. She is married to Eric Princeton.
He kinda sucks as a husband.
She wants to leave, but just can't bring herself to do it.
He just wants her to herself and won't let her leave.

Eric was working every day and showing improvements with his drinking and drug problems. He was getting closer to the end of AA and NA and he was excited.
Nubia was also doing good. She trusted Eric 100% now and she was happy about them finally in a good space.
"Eric can you put this in my bag?"
"Babe, why do you have to go?"
"Because I'm helping them train."
"But you're gonna be so far away."
"I'm gonna be in the next county, only a 45-minute drive."
"I'm gonna miss you."
"I'm coming back tomorrow night."
"I know. Can I get a kiss?"
"Fine."
She gave him a little peck on the lips.
"Wow! So that's how you gonna do me?"
"Eric I wish you would let me get dressed."
"Fine."
Once Nubia was finished getting dressed, she went in the living room and saw Eric by the door.
"Okay I'm leaving."
Eric grabbed her by her waist, and kissed her deeply.
"I love you Nubi."
"I love you too."
After Nubia left, Eric's friend from work, Josh, came by to watch the game with Eric.

"So your wife is gone?"
"Yeah."
"Yeah. I hate when my wife goes on business trips. Do you and your wife have kids?"
"Not yet."
"Having kids is stressful, but worth it."
"We almost had a daughter."
"Really? What happened?"
"She miscarried, "Eric lowly said with tears in his eyes.
"Damn, that's terrible. My wife miscarried before we had our two kids so it's not too late."

After the game finished, Josh left and Eric sat on the couch crying.
Then he heard his phone ring.
"H-Hello."
It was Nubia.
"Baby? What's wrong?" "Nothing."
"Clearly something's wrong. Just tell me."
"I was just thinking about the baby we could've had."
Nubia was silent for a minute and then quietly said, "Oh."
"It was all my fault."
"Eric- "
"It was. I was stressing you out with paying for my school stuff and the house. I'm so fucking sorry babe."
"Okay."
"Do you want to have kid with me? I'm such a fuck up, I wouldn't blame you if you said no."
"Eric- "
"You should've just left me. You deserve so much better."
"Eric stop. I don't know where this is coming from, but we will talk when I get home tomorrow. Okay? I love you and go to sleep."
"Okay. I love you too."
The Next Day...
Eric didn't want to get out of bed that day.
He still felt guilty about the way he treated Nubia and he also hated the fact that he caused the death of his own baby.
He wasn't sure if he could ever forgive himself.

When Nubia walked in, she turned the lights on and sat her bags down.
Once she got to the bedroom, she turned on the lights and saw Eric just lying there with red eyes.
"What's wrong babe?"
"I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"Everything."
Nubia got up and said, "Eric we have already talked about this."
"I know; I just feel guilty for everything."
"I have good news to tell you."
Eric sat up and weakly smiled, "What?"
"Well it's actually two things. I got promoted to Head Nurse."
