Chapter Thirty-two

"Ready for the big night?" Ade asked with his usual smirk and then looked at the bar in front of us.

"Yeah, Right." I answered, sarcastically.

Big night my foot. He's darn late! I thought and rolled my eyes.

Nauna na akong naglakad papasok sa bar habang sumusunod si Ade sa likuran ko.

Bumungad agad sakin yung kanta ni Miley Cyrus na wrecking ball, ilang estudyante na nasa dance floor at ilang grupo na tahimik na nag iinuman sa may gilid.

How typical.

"What's with the sour face?" Ade asked, frowning and raising his eyebrow.

"Nothing." I replied, dismissively.

Ayoko naman kasi na aminin kay Ade na kaya ako ganito ka bitter eh dahil na naman sa magaling nyang kapatid!

Alex went MIA, pagkatapos ng laro nila kanina nang wala man lang paalam o paramdam.

Oh wait!I forgot about his freaking text message.

Isang "Go with Ade and meet you at the party."

Kinilig naman ako sa ka-sweet'n ng message ni Alex, napaka caring kaya masisisi nyo ba ako kung bakit ganito yung pagmumukha ko ngayon?

That freaking pasaway guy. Imbyerna talaga.

I was snapped out of my dark thoughts when Ade slings his arm around my shoulders.

I looked up at him, still frowning.

Ade smirked. "Sayang yung outfit mo if you'll be this grumpy all night." He said, wiggling his eyebrow.

Darn him! Pinansin pa nya talaga.

Suot ko kasi ngayon yung jersey ni Alex na dahilan kung bakit kanina pa ako tinititigan ng mga nakakasalubong namin ni Ade.

Yes! Yes! I know. It's embarrassing and way to cheesy pero kung para kay Alex, ok lang na araw araw ko pa tong suotin kaya nga naiinis ako dahil hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin sya nagpapakita.

Nagsisimula na ngang dumami yung estudyante dito sa ni-rentahan nilang bar pero ang magaling na si Alex, miski anino wala pa rin.

I jumped in surprise when Ade nudged my stomach using his elbow. "Smile, baby doll. Show me your teeth."

"Childish." I murmured and glared at him.

He gave me a lopsided smile. "Are you thinking of Alex?" He asked, looking at my face teasingly.

He touched his chin, still not taking his eyes off me. "You're annoyed because he's still not here?" Ade continued, amusement is all over his face.

I huffed. "Shut up." I said, rolling my eyes.

Ade chuckled as I glared at him.

"If this will make you feel better, the reason he's still not here is because he's preparing something special for you." He said, patting the top of my head.

I furrowed my eyebrows, nawala agad yung galit ko instead tinignan ko si Adien ng punong puno ng pag asam at katanungan. "Really?" I asked, seeking for assurance.

Ade nodded. "Now, all you need to do eh mag pretend na wala kang alam and look surprise." Nanunuksong sabi ni Ade habang ginugulo yung buhok ko.

My eyebrows pulled together in irritation and then I sighed.

Pasalamat talaga tong si Ade at maganda yung binalita nya dahil kung hindi nakatikim na sakin yung kamay nito.

Sabing wag guguluhin yung buhok ko eh. Pero dahil medyo good mood na ko ngayon, I will let this go.
