Then a large form of that feeling came I quickly brought my blades up in front of me in an "X" form. A large paw came down at me but it was caught by my swords as I was holding back the attack from hitting me.
"Assassin!" Night gasped as they were about to come over to me. "No!" I hissed. "What?!" Night gasped at my response. "Don't let them escape! I'll... be fine." I panted as my right knee fell to the ground.
"No! You won't-!" Night was cut off. "Just trust me. An get them!" I told him. I took a deep breath in. It's tail came at me and I could feel it slash me slightly. "Urk." I gasped slightly.
I then could feel as a power began to course through me I had new strength. I stood back up forcing the chimera back.
"Go!" I huffed as sweat drips from my head into my eyes.
"Damn it! They disappeared right in front of me." Night hissed.
"... huff... of course... huff... get up to the roof... huff... where that shots came from I'll... huff... meet you up there." I panted.
"But-"
"Just go!"
Night listened to me after some persuasion, along with a deal that I had to make with him to have him leave me. I waited a few minutes making sure the chimera stayed with me to give Night enough time to get away.
"Katia now!" I exclaimed but nothing happened. "It's not a joke! This isn't funny! It's going to kill me if you don't!" I yelled after a few minutes of it still being on me.
Finally it was thrown off me. "Took you long enough. I'll meet you up there alright." I sighed as I put away my blades.
I jumped on top of some wooden boxes, pushed off the wall then over to the lamppost. I held on the the lamppost as I began swing back an forth creating some momentum to send my self to the near by fire escape. I then raced up the fire escape to the roof.
"What now?" Night asked. I pulled out a pistol from the bag on my side. "We make a final stand." I huffed.
"What?!"
"It's our only choice. Cat Thief, keep your guns out. Night get yours out." I sighed. "This is crazy!" the target exclaimed.
"It's fight or die. Just another day nothing too different." Cat sighed as she reloaded her gun. "It's more like die this time." Night added I hit them both on their head.
"You know how to use a gun right target?" I asked. "Yeah? Also my names Ari." he answered. "I know I just care right know. Take this an shoot at the chimera on my que." I sighed handing him the other pistol that I had.
"When, it gets here fire at its legs, shoulders, and chest." I told them.
"What good will that do?"
"It will either cause it to fall or stop." I answered. "Why do that?" Night asked. "I'm going to try something a little stupid that may just save us." I replied. The screen that was in front of my eyes informed me of something.
"It's coming so get ready." I told them. I pressed the button that was on the side of my helmet which caused the screen to disappear. The odd familiar feeling coursed through me.
"It will appear right in front of us." I exclaimed as I went to the front then the mouth piece opened.
It appeared where I said it would. I did a hand motion telling them to fire. The sounds of guns rang as the bullets hit the chimera.
I locked eyes with it. Unfeeling, pained, blood thirsty, so many mixed emotions. The biggest was that it wanted to die.
"Go home. Leave us be and go home." I spoke. "What ar-" Night was cut off by Cat. "Don't." Cat sighed.
"Go home." I repeated. I continued to say that not sure if it would work.
"Chimera return to your home, leave us be, and live." I spoke it's eyes told me something surprising.
Kill me. The look it gave me was firm.
I sighed bring my gun up and aiming at its head. I loaded the gun as I readied the shoot. The moonlight was then shinning on my right side possibly showing my face slightly. I was about to pulled the trigger when it disappeared.
I pulled the trigger to discharge the loaded gun then I put the gun down, and pushed the button on the side of my helmet closing the mouth piece and the screen reappearing over my eyes. then turned around.
"It's gone." I sighed. "Thank god." Night sighed. Night and Cat then started to remove some gear. I put my gun away.
"What are you doing? Someone else is here." Ari asked. "Yeah and they're one of us." Cat answered.
"I didn't think you would actually tell them who you where." I muttered. "Yeah we didn't have to much of a choice." Night sighed.
"Well who are you? Take your helmet off." he huffed. "I don't really want to." I huffed.
"Come on! He already knows who we are. It's not going to kill you if he finds out who you really are." Cat sighed. "I don't want to though." I sighed.
"Come on or I'll just tell him." Night huffed. "Sigh... fine. Fine I'll do it." I muttered.
I grabbed my helmet pushing the button on the side opening the mouth piece for it was more painful taking off the helmet with the mouth piece still closed. When the mouth piece was opened I then started to take off my helmet.
