#25 - headcanon - Nicknames

This headcanon is for the AU where the three decide to have a kid.

While trying to each the kid to speak, they attempt the usual lets see if they'll call me dad, whatever. However with three dads, the kid learns how confusing it can be when it wants one dad's attention and not the others. This is where nicknames come in handy.

The trio tried to help out, but in the end the kid created their nicknames by themselves.
Onity's nickname was Oni, but for the longest time the kid had a hard time pronouncing it right. They would say it like "Ah-knee" instead.

Mike's nickname was Mimi. The kid read it in a book and it clicked that they sounded similar. Mimi is also easy to say for a child learning to speak.

The kid took the longest trying to figure out a nickname for Tyler. For awhile the kid would pronounce daddy as "D-ah-b-y" and would even say Abby. Eventually they started calling Tyler Abby because he joked about it once.

Oni, Mimi, and Abby.

When the kid is surprised, scared, upset or in any form of distress, they will use dad/daddy/etc to get the attention of all three or any of the three that can hear them.
