Valiant

   Once a boy, now a man,
With a hearty dream, in a lone stand.

   Born into the fray.
Grew through the iron of the day.
Searching for my path of fate...
Devoid of light, now so faint...

   Midst of maniacal skirmishes,
Squires would have one last wish;
To be reunited with their ancestors.
A dream, an incapacitation,
So incessant...

   Yet this would all be for nothing,
Had the smoke and fire subsided...
We took vengeance for everything,
Knowing our true intentions were hiding.

   With a heart of respect and honour,
Shall a soul's path tread.
Complete of mind, giving of splendor,
To the ones in need of being fed...

   A knight to the people,
And aspiration to the feeble;
He brings hope into the feared.

   A symbol of the dragon's talon,
For the broad one, so valiant...

   Good day, ladies and gentlemen. So it's been quite a while since I've written poetry on this sort of style. And, presumably, that's what you people enjoyed highly! If you would like to see more or, just about anything topic, comment on my message board or privately message me.
   This tell-tale of a "lionheart" brings back peoples' views on protectors of their land.  And that stated of as a knight's childhood, until his realisation of war's impact on others...
   (Small note for the ladies and girls : Now I didn't mention the power of a girl with dedication and dexterity in this, a girl specifically.  However, that clearly doesn't mean that I get the the impression that you aren't capable. My apologies for this, and if you wish, I can write another just for you girls!)

   Jolly ho! Hope you sincerely enjoyed, and perhaps learned a few moral principles. Of course, press that orange star, comment your infinitive thoughts, and follow for more of that good stuff...
   My honour, and my pleasure, to be sharing my works with you, folks. Cheers! -MS
