Do you feel like you're second hand?
Do you feel you're afraid to stand?
Living your life so you won't regret,
Caught away in every safety net.
Rain's pouring down and I'm just listening,
Thinking about that "someone missing".
Cause I'm missing you when I'm gone,
And I just ain't moving on.
It just feels like you're there so small,
It's really the space between the stars,
I've been there, risking it all.
Been trying to raise the bar.
But what is there to just believe,
Would you do the same for me?
On the day you disappeared,
The birds weren't singing, for I could hear,
It's all too different to be the same, here.
Lost what's been forever dear.
All the darkness that fate beheld
All was loose and broke as hell.
All when you were gone,
Just couldn't go on....
Fought my fear of what lingered,
Thought it's over so all would wane,
Guess some paintings should never,
Ever be changed.
Life's just frostbitten,
Waiting to fade.
But it ain't written,
It's just made..
